However, in order to do so, one must show proof of living within the boundaries of NISD. One cannot live within PAISD and choose to attend NISD. That's an entire different topic, and that is not what we are discussing here. I answered your question on how the rules in BISD are different in NISD. You seemed to think they were equal, while clearly they are not. BISD has open enrollment while NISD does not have that luxury.
How is it open enrollment if the student has to request a transfer?
Yeoj your just not getting it! In beaumont you can request a transfer and be accepted without physicaly moving where you live. If a PA kid wanted to attend Nederland He or She would have to move/sell there home and buy one in the NISD school zone. Do you see the difference?

Actually I've stated to Soulja he's IMO their best player. But, he won't score 31. Central is too long and athletic. The Jags will make him take difficult shots. He will score some, just not 30.
Can't imagine how hard it is for Coach English to juggle being the head coach and dad. Just once I'd like to see English let loose the best shooter in the area just to see how he would light it up. Being the coach that he is he wouldn't do that and I understand and respect that totally, still I wonder just what that kid could do if they fed him the shot time and time again. 31 might just be cutting him short....Would be fun to see!

I'd much rather English score 20 and see Lorimier have another big game like he did the other night.

I was only stating that in this match up with Central, he will be guarded by taller, and more athletic players who will force him to shoot over the top of them.

Call me greedy or foolish, but just once turn the kid loose, win or lose, good game plan or bad game plan, just once feature him for the entire game. The kid has earned it, and he is a senior, plus, I just like the kid and his attitude, all around great kid....Now if they come out and beat Central playing a slowed down half court game that pounds the ball inside and they win,,,,, forget everything I said, well, almost every thing....Dogs win this on Soulja......

BLUEDOVE3 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 English is one of the few coaches I admire for.the way he.coaches.his son. Most coaches with sons feature their sons, and the majority I see have no business on the court. English should feature.his son more in the offense. I can say this now because I don't expect to play them again. English, take the chains off your kid and don't worry about what others think. Give him the green light. Its not like he's going to go out and shoot 30-40 shots. He will still be a team player.

However, I think he will be very aggressive from the get go Tues night.

We have several players that can erupt for big games, it's hard to scout for. I've seen each player on our starting lineup have huge games at one point or another this season. We've even had a few bench players this year that have exceeded 20 points before. I love our chances at home to capture this outright district title...
