I agree. Zach has always been a team player. However, I think he will be very aggressive from the get go Tues night.
[/quote] One thing that makes this Central team hard to beat is you don't know who will step up on a given night.  We have several players that can erupt for big games, it's hard to scout for.  I've seen each player on our starting lineup have huge games at one point or another this season.  We've even had a few bench players this year that have exceeded 20 points before.  I love our chances at home to capture this outright district title...

I think Central controlling the boards will be the key. Its not that Central beats you with their shooting or creating their own shots, Central gets to the boards and get 2nd/3rd shots back up on the offensive end.

True. I was not impressed with Centrals outside shooting or penetration last game. What killed us was the fact we got 1 shot, while Central got 2nd and 3rd chances all night long. We have to position and block out better this time.

The wise young coach told them, "get the(offensive)rebounds and put it back up....."  The moral of this story?  Sometimes we make life harder than it has to be AND don't play for coaches who shot the ball a lot  :D

I happen to know your old coach, Bluedove, and he wasn't anywhere NEAR the shooter that his SON was/is!!! ;D ;D ;D....Heck, your coach's brother Sam was another one that never saw a shot he didn't like!!  ;D ;D

English is really good! Actually I've stated to Soulja he's IMO their best player. But, he won't score 31. Central is too long and athletic. The Jags will make him take difficult shots. He will score some, just not 30.

Okay, lets take this a little deeper than just one little bitty game tonight. If Central wins tonight, they get outright 1st place in the district. Ozen gets second and Nederland gets third. Hmmm? [/quote]First Soulja i need to let you know there really isn't much difference in football forum and basketball forum, all district go through Nederland. Wow! never thought I'd ever be able to say that, but how true,,,champs in both right now,,,, now for a more serious topic, I simply want to see the English kid featured more, that is just me as a fan with a want, I want the win, but would just like to see him go off and the team feed off of him for an entire game, just once...I have no dog in the fight just a fan with a want,,, the district still goes through Nederland until they are no longer champs....
