A&M only managed 4 hits in the opening game loss.  Kyle Martin threw well in his 1st game not throwing sidearm.

OF's Jace Statum went 1-3 with and rbi & a run scored in the Game 2 win

Ags take game 3 by a score of 5-1.  Statum was 1-3 with a rbi & run scored.  BH's Grayson Long threw 1 inning with 2k's and 0 runs

Barbers Hill's Grayson Long picked up the win going 5.2 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits.

No offense for A&M against Pepperdine.  They need to find a way to score runs.  They have a bunch of singles hitters and need to find an rbi guy.

Good win over #12 Rice.  Daniel Mengden went 8 and is now 3-0 on the year.  Statum was 1-2 with an rbi and 2 runs scored.

BH's Grayson Long got the win at Prairie View going 5 allowing 1 run on 3 hits.  He is now 2-0 on the year.

Barbers Hill's Grayson Long is through 5 against #13 South Carolina.  Ags up 2-0.  Game is on ESPNU

I jinxed him.  Long gave up a hit in the 6th and has been replaced.

Reliever served one up off of the wall for a 2 run double.  Those runs are on Long and he is no longer in line for the win.  Game tied at 2

The Ags have been struggling lately in conference.  They will miss the postseason unless they somehow get hot and win the conference tourney.

Sad state of affairs this year....Ags, Horns, Baylor not in top 25....Curious as to when was the last time that happened....

Ags lose in 11 last night to Sam Houston. Sam Houston playing pretty well of late.

Rice may be ranked, but they are way down from previous years. They just do not have the front line pitching. It will be interesting to see how much longer Graham stays on board. The guy at Sam will probably be next in line.

Baseball in the state in general is down this year. With so many programs, I think the talent is being spread too thin.

I agree about talent being spread too thin.
Rice started the season looking pretty bad but have since picked it up.
Who knows how long Graham stays around. I do think Pierce (former Rice pitching coach) at SHSU will be next Owl head coach.

The Ags sweep Mizzu this weekend to improve to 10-13 in SEC play. No midweek game. 3 game series start this thursday against LSU at 8 pm. The game will be shown on ESPN U.

Ags beat #4 LSU 2-1 in a longgggggggggg, rain delayed game.

Started on Thursday, finished on Friday.
