GoBigBlue1997 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 I heard Nederland lost a big transfer this year to Memorial. He was going to be a big influence on next years team. Anyone have anymore info on this?
PAMFAM10 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 I've Heard the same .... Will like for a NED Fan To Confirm It Or Dismiss It
PhatMack19 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 I was told Jaron Johnson moved to Memorial. He was a backup defensive lineman last year and would have started next.

jake94 Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Hate to lose this kid. He played some this season in a rotational role as a Soph. I think he will be a very good one by the time he's a senior.
ram0524 Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Jaron was a very good player and was a great teammate. PAM got a good one in Johnson. Hope him the best. I might catch a PAM game just to see how he does

Only an assumption on my part, but I would guess watching 12 kids sign on the dotted line this year at PAM might have swayed this young man's thought process. I could be totaly wrong (happened once before ;D).
mypooh Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 PAM doesn't need to sway kids the proof is there every signing day when you pick up the paper the next day. I think this will be a trend to follow in future years.
Michele Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 wish him good luck and along with a successful 2013 season for the Titans :)

Scholarships are earned at the summer camps these days. The school they play at doesn't have as much to do with it as it used to back in the day. If you have talent and go to the right camps, the schools will find you.

Bulldog8 Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 How many PAM this year signed with a D1 school (FBS)?I though I saw 2 out of the 11 or 12 listed in the paper?
SFA85 Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 12 Athletic and 1 Academic from PAM. Everybody knows Nuemann worries about winning games. Could care less about helping kids get looks for college....

Neumann cares about trying to turn young men into quality educated members of society... Something lots of people don't worry about anymore... The proof is in the pudding
ispeakjive Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 So is it ok for the Nederland fans to make allegations of recruiting like the PAM fans do on the basketball board or is it only recruiting if the kid moves to Nederland?
