Just one game. Both school admins wanted the early game so the kids could get back home at a decent time on school night.

Holding it in a big gym to let everyone in but at a time when it will be hard for most fans to get there,  that part doesn't make a lot of sense.  I can understand wanting to get the kids back early.

Yates did not want to play Silsbee at a location where Silsbee had played at this season.

Both schools finally agreed on two locations that would be accommodating (SHSU and Campbell Center) and they flipped for it. Silsbee won the flip.
