I think i matters
Sport1971! Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 My understanding that Kountze will now have two JV teams and will looking for games...even Soph. Teams from larger schools...very good for Kountze program, allowing more kids more playing time.

Shamrock28 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Does anyone know who won last night between PNG and Vidor sophs?
Fugitive Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Kountze can't even find enough games for one JV.

I think if you split the Kountze JV and put some of your more advanced players on one team and make them play up than they first of all play more and second, get better because of the quality of teams they are playing against is better. Then you take the other team and continue your current JV schedule...they play much more and get better and more seasoned. I applaud the Coaches trying to focus more attention on the JV program because it is the lifeblood of the Varsity program.
T-daddy Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 jasper JV (8 fresh, 1 soph) is 8-0 with wins over vidor jv 2-0, Livingston 12-2...looking forward to watching them play more 4a schools later this week in the vidor jv tourn.
