BrenhamFan Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 First district loss at Fireman's Park in 4 years.
Monkeynuts Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Montgomery 4, Huntsville 2 FChris Cooper worked 6 1/3 innings, striking out three while walking two.The Bears improved to 6-0 overall and 1-0 in District 18-4A.Will Fox went 3 for 4 with two RBI for Montgomery, and Jimmy Dominick went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Pretty good start for the pitching considering our ace Ty Boland has yet to pitch an inning with a sore arm. Having found nice some young arms early and the bats have stayed hot has helped, but the competition level is about to rise some.
