Uncle Si Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Who will have the fastest times in the 100m in SETX this year? Post your predictions or actual times of who you think it is and which school they attend......
Eagle11 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 I have not attended a varsity meet yet but went to watch my fiance's freshman meet at Pearland Dawson yesterday. A freshman from Manvel ran a 10.88.
mytwocents-28 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Easy. Alex sezer from lcm. Kid ran a 10.5 last year, and that was last year. Went to state in track and field his freshman year.

mytwocents-28 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Oh. Well scratch that then I guess lol.
itsallabouttheH Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Bradford of Splendora went 10.6 at Humble Meet.
Morris_era Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Colin Janice of West Orange-Stark ran a 10.4 at the bear relays. First time running the 100 this year.

Morris_era Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 What u mean? I was there. What would've made it legit?
One4All Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Well[], what was it......what was the legit time!!
mytwocents-28 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 They had a coach with a clock watch. Not as accurate as a laser time or something like that. Not trying to take anything away from the kid, I'm sure he has a fast time in the 100 but 10.4 on a coaches watch could be less than accurate.
One4All Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Oh ok ,I see well in that case just about everyone around here uses coaches hand time..
mytwocents-28 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013
Oh ok ,I see well in that case just about everyone around here uses coaches hand time..
At the meets yes. At the combines no. At the combines they have laser times. And tony brown, a guy who has already been to state track and field, ran a 10.5 at a combine. This guy might be fast but you expect me to believe his first time running a 100 this guy runs a 10.4??
Morris_era Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Well we will see at state because he will be there...and by the way his freshman year he ran a 10.6 at the Titan relays

ozens fastest@1906 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Well what makes it not ligit is that fact that he ran a hand held time, which if it was a TRUE 10.4 he would be ranked number 2 in the state of texas, and the 2nd place finisher would be in the top 10 in state as well with a high 10.57.. the odds of these times being considered ligit are very slim because the number ranked highschool sprinter in the nation cameron burrel won TSU Relays with an FAT 10.3
