When was the last time 1 team from hardin county didnt make it tot the regional tour.... kountze silsbee and hardin Jefferson

Another thing that's ironic is that it just so happens that all three teams were affected by Yates one way or the other in this years playoffs.  ;)

I can only speak for HJ.  HJ has been to Regionals every year since 2007.  Last time not there was 06, that is up until this year.

Kountze went from 1994 - 2002, missed '03 then went from 2004 - 2007.

I am certain that JEFFERSON county had regional runs to rival that during the PA Lincoln days...Heck, Ozen had a regional tourney appearance from 2001-2005, missed it in 06', and back in 2007...If I am not mistaken Lincoln had regional runs from 1981-1991, (but Bmt Westbrook went to regionals in 91 and 92 so that gap was filled) Then again from 1993-1999, and made a final one in 2001...It would be interesting to see which county had the longer regional tourney runs...I KNOW Jeffersonn county holds the edge in consecutive STATE Tournament runs...Interesting stat... ;)

I wasn't being edgy at all. My team was beat last Friday and you haven't seen me complain one bit. I just mentioned something about you talking about Jefferson County when the thread wasn't made about Jefferson County. My team (Kountze) will be back, NEXT YEAR and you can count on it.

Trust me, I don't know you one bit. Outside of your screen name you're probably a standup guy in person but honestly you come off as a messy character on this forum. [b]That's what I have a problem with![/b]  ;)

Why is that? We have the same classification size as all other 2A's so what gives us an advantage? I'll wait to hear your response.

Actually I was speaking as you Kountze fans speak...You guys feel that you should be in it EVERY year..and for good reason...And honestly you guys dropping to 2A from 3A is similar to Yates dropping to 3A from 4A...It SHOULD have be a cake walk as it is for Yates.... ::) 8)

Maybe in your old age, you have forgotten that Yates returns Swift AND JC Washington next year along with the PG JoJo Anderson....It will be much of the same next year in region 3-3A... 8)

That's the most asinine statement you've posted. You can't answer the question as to what gives us an advantage on the 2A level. We don't have millions of kids to pull from for our basketball PROGRAM. When we competed at the 3A level we were actually one of the smallest 3A's competing and we won, yearly, with those numbers.

You do realize that 21-3A runner up would not see Swift, Washington, Anderson and the rest of Yates team till Regional finals. That means the runner up would make regional tourney. That is what we are discussing, Hardin County team making regionals.

Should you even be coaching with that ineptness? ;)
