Big girl Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 I thought for sure that Jordan Holmes would get MVP, I guess i was wrong. Congratulations to all.
BADSANTA Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Im pretty sure Holmes and Elam will be All State as well. Both guys averaged 20ppg or close to it.
BADSANTA Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Congrats to all the kids well deserved.
stang4life Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Congrats Mustangs! Not shocked that Laquarious Paige was MVP! Can't wait to see the Mustangs next year!!! Only two seniors lost!

Have no problem with Q being MVP.

My statement is predicated on the fact that he fouled out ot entirely to many of their "big" games throughout the season, although he was a consistent scorer for the squad I actually felt that D. Thomas was a huge catalyst for them by distributing the basketball out of the post the way that he did which benefited quite a few of his teammates that are now in contention for alot of these forthcoming awards....
DeuceSixSuited Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Wow. I disagree big time with a lot of things on this list.
Big girl Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 ok. I didnt realize he fouled out of a lot of games. I thought Silsbee shouldve had a player with the MVP award. I have a problem with this list but I'll be nice and not say another word. (Sigh) ;)
Big girl Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 I have received specific instructions from Lazeek on what I am allowed to post. :o
fisherman2 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Not surprised to see Paige get MVP he played great in all the games I saw them play this year. He couldn't miss a shot against Kelly. He hit one step back three from the free throw line. Kid is athletic and can shoot.

If he was at the free throw line and stepped back to get to the three point arc . . . that's one giant step for basketball kind. Less hype and more accuracy, please.

BADSANTA Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Allstate from the Area in 3A will be Page, Elam, Holmes, and Bosha.
hoopaholic02 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 BAD SANTA is this information factual ? :o

hoopaholic02 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 What are requirements for All State. Elam and Holmes will undoubtedly make it but does the MVP of each district get automatic inclusion?
