Not as nice as EC's though. Was curious why the Region IV tourney was at Seguin HS instead of at Texas Lutheran College in Seguin.
DXTR Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 I would take the short drive into New Braunfels and go to Pat's Place.

Guest ECBucFan Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Yes we are staying the night and going to the Gristmill the next day.

But, I saw online the Shrimp Barn and saw that they have a catfish gumbo that folks were raving about. Also, with me broadcasting that night, BBQ sometimes is not the best pregame meal. ;) Lot's of belching. ;D

Is it GT/ Brazosport vs. Crosby /Terry? Might do that instead...

fisherman2 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Pj's Restaurant. It's a little hole in the wall across from the city hall there in Seguin. They have some really good hamburgers.
Guest Air Bisquit Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 I used to work a lot in that area and Davilla's and PJ's are the best in Seguin.

If it's not too cold sit outside on the cliff overlooking the river
Guest ECBucFan Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 We love going to the Gristmill, eating, then visiting legendary historic Gruene Hall. I think the weather might be too cold to do that this time, though. In the spring and fall its great to do. Love that TX hill country. :)
lightningman Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Gristmill is good but the Gruene River Grill is very good as well... I always make a trip to the New Braunfels Smokehouse for misc. snacks
