Silsbe beat Lumberton 5-2, then lost to BC 13-3. Silsbee was up 3-1 and BC hit a 3-run bomb in the fourth for a 4-3 lead. Then Silsbee started pitching any players that could get the ball close to the plate.

Why did they change pitchers?  Seems like Silsbee didn't hit to well after BC took the lead.

The pitcher that started this game also closed the Lumberton game.  He had reached 87 pitches.

[/quote] Well Silsbee was still hitting But BC was really making some really Great plays on the ball. Great job BC. Right now Silsbee will have a hard time in the tourn. due to all the pitchers are used up we will just have to Just do what we can for the rest of the tourn. We Just had the two that pitched against Lum. left after that we were out . The one that finished against Lum Had to start againt BC until he had to come out also. Hope it might be better next week. But its doubtfull right now.

Well atleast this is not District....LOL.... playing like this in quality tournaments will only make Silsbee better come district time.

[/quote]We Should be Just ok at best during District. Due to The amount of pitchers. Silsbee will have to manage them well During District play . The batting and fielding will be fine. We will just have to see. Not looking Good right now. Hopefully that will change.

You do have to remember that you are playing quality teams not a bunch of small schools... I am sure Those Tigers will do just fine come District.
