PNG1992 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Change their school colors to the Silver & Black...Be the real Raaaiidda's. that oiler blue and red doesnt give the Raider name justice. They need to be more intimidating  ....Come on Lumberton ISD...SILVER & BLACK....
L-Town Stunners Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Cause the next thing you know, we'd have Al Davis' old self hobbling around, and then John Madden would be roaming the sidelines and Howie Long would be trying to take out some poor ol' quarterback and then.......
Lucky Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Yes I agree, silver and black is very intimidating and now is the time since they are playing so well. Baby blue and red just looks like a cheerleader school and just makes you want to shake a pom pom !
football04 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Lumberton really should change their colors, that's one ugly color combination they have. I bet if they voted on it everyone would want to change. If your are going to play like champions dress like champions.
Pimp Smack Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 hell im from l-town and i haaate the colors. black and silver should be voted in for next year. the only problem is the lumberton school district probably woulnd even fork out the money for them.
football04 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Talk to them. Winning brings people together, next thing you know you will have a PROGRAM TO BE PROUD OF and everyone will will benefit, the play off's are fun wheather you win state or not.
thescoop Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I HEARD THEY WILL BE IN ALL RED NEXT YEAR BUT THE CURRENT UNIFORMS WERE ALREADY ORDERED
swampdude Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Red and blue would look good, but NOT powder blue! H-J does some nice color combos with those colors.
PNG1992 Posted September 23, 2006 Author Report Posted September 23, 2006 na....silver & Black with the NFL RAIIIIDDDAA's logo..thats the only way to go!!!Just put no stripes on the pants and put RAIDERS across the jerseys...then it would be on!!!
PNG1992 Posted September 23, 2006 Author Report Posted September 23, 2006 this is the one....Id be fighting for it!!! http://nflnut.com/store/media/CMraiders.jpg
Gasilla Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 LOL... I was thinking about this very thing the other day. It's going to be awefully hard to be very intimidating when you are sporting the pastel colors. Powder Blue is the color of my daughters bedroom, not the color of an intimidating, hard nosed football team. That's why WO-S went away from the royal blue to the navy blue many years ago.
SilsbeeD Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 LOL... I was thinking about this very thing the other day. It's going to be awefully hard to be very intimidating when you are sporting the pastel colors. I dunno about that...Dallas Carter
Gasilla Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Is Carter still intimidating people?? What color are they anyway? I thought they were red...
vp93 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Is Carter still intimidating people?? What color are they anyway? I thought they were red... Yeah, there's not much blue there.
LadyRaider2010 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Why should it matter about the color of the uniforms...it's the players and the hearts inside of them that really count....
SETxftballfan Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 LadyRaider makes a good point...Really and truly why would the color combo be intimidating when Lumberton has never won in football? I know some people quake when they see the colors on the Lady Raiders Basketball team. Plus if they were to take silver and black it would be simply copying the NFL team. (which originally they may have done anyways... Bears, Panthers Etc.). But give Lady Raider a break she is a 2010 that makes her what.. a freshman? all she has is the cliche's her coaches hand her.
LadyRaider2010 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Yea..I am a freshmen..but ya know I've been good friends with all those guys and Coach Creduer since I was little..Creduer coached with my Uncle at Kelly..So I know him & I know his players..I also know the amount of heart and dedication they have..
Pimp Smack Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 no1 is saying uniforms affect the teams play. we are just suggesting different colors. if your ur gonna play u mine as well look good. am i right?
SETxftballfan Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 well being from lumberton i will tell you the WASPs of the town think its good looking, they are more interested in them being cute little mommas boy's and making good grades (which isnt a problem except where football or other sports is concerned) so the red and blue works fine for them.... correction most of the people in lumberton the attitude that oakland uses would fly with some but not all
AshlyHasBeen Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Here are some of the teams with lighter colors Lubbock Monterey Dallas Carter, mostly red now Houston Madison McAllen Memorial South San Antonio Dallas Roosevelt Sweeny Waco Reicher
SETxftballfan Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 shly makes a good point some of those arent bad
KFDM COOP Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Which of these do you like best SHLY?
beaumontballer44 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 We should just stick to the color we have now lumberton always changes colors heck our band has navy blue and red uniforms! Our boys basketball team is red and gray1 the football team is baby blue, red, and white!
