SETXsports started in 2005 because Southeast Texas needed a place of its own for high school sports. What began as an idea from a college student and lifelong sports fan has grown into more than two decades of broadcasts, conversation, information and community.
Founder Jordan Wilson, a Jasper High School graduate and lifelong sports fan, started SETXsports while still in college.
SETXsports was using the shortened SETX identity from the beginning, long before it became common throughout the region.
For more than two decades, Southeast Texas sports fans have used the SETXsports Forum to share scores, schedules, news, predictions and discussion.
SETXsports crews have broadcast thousands of football, basketball, baseball, softball and other games.
SETXsports broadcasts have always been free to listeners.
SETXsports is locally and independently owned and supported by people who genuinely care about Southeast Texas sports.
