I always find it funny how Coaches that have a winning history talk about how they don't have many "Players/Athletes". That it is all the program.... If they were doing well in just one sport I would agree but don't let him fool you.... they got DUDES!!! In the last 2 years basketball went 62-15 (Reg quarter-finalist/ State runner up) and baseball 43 - 7 (season cut short.. ranked #2, and Regional Finalist) with out having Athletes... sorry don't buy it... sounds great in a interview though..

He acted no better than her. I’m a Trump supporter, and I can freely say that he was wrong for what he did and did not do. Quit pointing fingers and start looking in the mirror folks. If I’m sitting some betting odds in Vegas, here’s my thoughts (Disclaimer: this post for mature audiences who have more sense than to take my advice, lol. Post is for entertainment purposes only since picking my nose is difficult [Dam hair]). I’d pick Crosby by 5. LH has to score almost every time they get the ball, because Crosby will. Can’t see LH stopping Crosby, except by turnovers, or several big penalties. Crosby has had trouble with the Slot T in the past, but new DC, and great team, so who knows now? These Panthers run that Offense very, very well. My guess, they’ll still have problems. Discipline is the key to stopping it, and Crosby just can’t stay at home. Since I don’t see LH stopping Crosby, & think it’s unlikely Crosby will be able to stop LH often, I’m sitting the Over/Under at 105. Finally, hope - everyone has a safe trip - no player injuries - and great referees. Anticipate this game being a good one to watch. Anyone know if game is on radio? If so, what station? Go Cougars!

Not good. Supply and demand will rule. We already have more college graduates than jobs. It’s just going to create an even more miserable situation for all. You’ll have 100 degreed candidates applying for one or two job opportunities, and by definition employees can pay a even smaller salary because of the glut of graduates. Not to mention the increased tax burden that the rest of us will share, regardless of our education level. The argument goes “college grads make more money” and it’s often true. However, it’s also a function of the mindset and work ethic that achieve that distinction. A young person who is intelligent, self-disciplined, responsible, and motivated enough to work through a degree plan would be expected to achieve greater things. You can’t just hand people a degree and expect them to meet those same levels of success. Comparison. “People who religiously pay their tithes are blessed financially” they also say. It’s true... most people that I know who honor that commitment to their church DO seem to do really well. However, could their good fortune also be explained by their self discipline in regards to tithing also be reflected in ALL of their financial decisions? Their conservatism would also be exhibited in better financial decisions in regard to purchases, financial decisions, and saving as well? I’ll bet there’s a correlation. Nobody likes the idea that some kids go to college and some kids can’t. Life choices have consequences. It’s not a kid’s fault that his parents made bad decisions, but it’s not my place to make up for their shortcoming because I’ve been steadfast with my decision making.

Every great civilization falls victim to “progress,” and I’m afraid that we are speeding up that decline. It amazes me that the left can’t realize that what they are proposing is unsustainable. Eventually you’ll run out of other peoples’ money. We can’t afford to feed, clothe, house, educate, provide healthcare, and give a free cellphone to 7.5 billion people just by “making the rich pay their fair share.” Oh, I left out “pay reparations” and provide “environmental equality” whatever that means. “Corporate greed” they all cry. But when you raise taxes on businesses, they don’t just soak up those costs, they pass them onto their customers regardless if they make more or less than $400k per year. When corporations lose money, their stock prices plummet, which suddenly destroys that 401k that is heavily invested in stocks. Regardless of your income, btw. We can’t keep scratching stimulus checks and unemployment bonuses for everybody... it’s just not viable. Eventually people here will know hunger. Its inevitable.

I dont post much, but I have read this several times in this thread and want to clarify, Army and Navy run the flexbone not the Slot-T. These two offenses are very different from one another, while you can do similar things out of both, the essence of Slot-T is a power run game; where as with the flexbone the primary factor is the option game. Just wanted to clear that up.

Here’s a fact... my kid was five or so when I told him there wasn’t a Santa Claus. I showed him receipts and everything. I bought that crap, and I’m taking credit. He found out about the tooth fairy because I forgot to put the two bucks under his pillow and he woke up crying. I had to explain that I was, in fact, the tooth fairy and I’d made a mistake. When it comes to the talent level we are playing against this team is less talented than the previous 3, especially on defense. I want to see Dunn healthy but honestly Branch might go for 350 in this one... on the ground. It's a style game and basically if Crosby defense can figure out that Slot-T then Crosby should win. If they don't then it's a shootout and last team with ball may very well win.

Coach James Reyes grew up in Nacogdoches, Tx and graduated from Marshall High School in 1996. After graduation, he went to Dallas Baptist University on a baseball scholarship. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in August 2001. In 20 years of coaching, he has been the Offensive Coordinator at Nacogdoches High School, Midlothian High School, McKinney High School, Northwest High School, and is currently the OC at Center High School. He has also been the head track coach and head Golf Coach at Nacogdoches High School and Center High School. Coach Reyes enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hanging out at their lake house, and playing golf. He has been married to his wife Shelli for 15 years. They have 2 wonderful children Allie (12) and Ethan (8). Coach Reyes is excited to be part of the Lumberton Raider family!

Ummm.... yeah, but no. Obama bad what was supposedly the most liberal voting record during his short time in the Senate. It got a lot less serious once the Rs took the House in ‘10. My opinion is that Biden isn’t nearly as liberal as Obama. What makes me nervous is the likelihood that he won’t finish his term and we’ll have Harris/Pelosi pres/vp from California... and if you like what Ds have done in California, great... because it’ll be coming to you soon. Higher taxes, ridiculous environmental regulations, neutered law enforcement, restrictive gun laws, and a determinedly anti-Christian bias... because that’s exactly what they’ve done with CA.

I see Mr McClure had 42 & 16 last night. Friday will be interesting. It is really tough to handle the waves of pressure that Silsbee throws at you for an entire game. I expect Brock will perform admirably, much like I hear Boudreaux from BC did last night against the Tigers. When you have seasoned, 3 and 4 year starters, it certainly helps. This game will be the one to watch. Regardless, I think this is the 1-2 matchup most of us expected at the beginning of the season. Hope both teams have a competitive, healthy game.

I guess since United is local we don't think they are as good as they are, we always think the teams across the state are the real deal....Like I've stated before this is one of the best teams in the state. Classification doesn't matter

Slot T will usually mask a lack of overall talent top to bottom with precision blocking and deception, but what I have noticed at the 5A and 6A level it usually only gets you so far before you meet a group that is just as disciplined and will slow them down, make them get out of their comfort zone and pass a lot more. Fact is once you get this deep the teams are all very sound, disciplined and do the little things correctly. Then it's no longer about scheme as much as it is about talent. I got Crosby with the W.

Incorrect, Visitor side is sold out, and the home side has 345 tickets left. Imo this matchup should have been played at a much larger stadium being a 5th round game.

I actually hope they are listed as the underdog in this one. I think it has fueled Crosby the last 3 weeks. They need to keep that chip on their shoulders!! This is a completely different animal than anything they have played this year. They need to focus and execute flawlessly.
