Hold on a minute. You say you "only lost by 10" to Franklin but then say Franklin put a "whoopin" on Jasper. Jasper lost to Franklin by 6. So by your logic, Franklin completely destroyed Woodville. Seem to be talking out the side of your mouth.

I think HF was pretty tough and i hear they only reason they lost to Jasper was because of 2 bad punt snaps otherwise there would have been a different outcome to that game ??? One thing about it the HF game was very well needed for Silsbee , they was tested and i mean tested and down very late and they figured out a way to win. Our defense was on the field pretty much the complete second half and still stepped up on the series they had to and the offense scored when they had to . Silsbee is battle tested and they passed the test.

Dayton may have lost on the scoreboard but I can say with the dirty hits, and all the extra stuff that Marshall does they shouldn’t be very proud of their district win. Probably the most classless and undisciplined high school football team I have ever seen.

I noticed that the Booker T Washington Eagles are 9-0 including wins over Wharton and 6A Pasadena. They play Scarborough today so it's easy to assume they will go 10-0 and have a perfect regular season. I don't know how deep they will go in the 4A playoffs, but I am always happy to see HISD kids succeeding when they have a lot stacked against them off the field.

I'm just saying I have never seen anything in a trophy case or school acknowledging a district championship for a JV or freshmen team. Seen plenty at the middle schools which I think are okay. Just not for sub varsity at the high schools. I have no problem with stating a JV/9th team went undefeated or 9-1 or so on. But pretty sure district championships are not awarded to sub varsity teams. They are mostly self proclaimed by said school.

This win was more dominant than the scoreboard will reflect. Team seem to be playing great ball . Only worry is Titans sideline do no react to the opposition defense continually sending pressure. And If chaviler is going to go both ways (which is good) he needs help over the top looked a little gassed late… A few more design plays for goodie.

Agreed. Most of our defense forgot how to wrap up, fort bend marshal started with great field position on almost every drive due to very questionable punts/ a very confusing kick off or onside kick if that’s what they were trying for. On offense our difference maker last night was stevens but he hardly got the ball thrown his way not sure why you wouldn’t stick with what is working.

I think the talk is about common opponents. But that means mostly nothing in this case.

After last week it’s clear that Nederland has more to them than they’ve been able to show this season. I think they show up with momentum and shock TC.
