I completely disagree. Crumedy only helped Jasper. Our Coach McGuire helped ALL SIX of the other teams in our district get their biggest wins in District play. That’s impressive.

I've been wrong about half this season. Correct about our program all year though. We are very woke. Yet still dreaming if anyone thinks we change now. We can't step into a phone booth and come out showing our true colors. The most talented 4th seed TEAM in the state. I believe so. But I don't keep up over 1000 teams like Tepper does. He, and others, thought we had enough coming back to make a run against the University of Carthage. Until they witnessed our 1st loss. PNGs first year staff showed us up and got a state ranking the following week. On the other hand, we completely dropped out of the top 10. One loss... playing up 2 divisions... to a team that ended up being pretty good (8-2, 6-1). It's not like we lost to Bridge City, or Alvarado (5-5, 2-2) by one point. So what changed that week? What did they see that was different about us? It couldn't have been the talent on the field. It was the same kids they knew would be back. The same kids that over performed as sophomores last year. The same kids... that could run the 50 in their sleep. We could show up unannounced, unprepared, and still find a way to compete by the 2nd half. Halftime adjustments, I remember them like it was yesterday. Anyone know what changed? Some people have been in denial at times, myself included, thinking things would turn the corner. I appreciate everyone saying "Mustangs by 10" and all that. Well... one of the star players was shooting baskets til it rained last night. Have we lost the coaching? Have we lost the fan base? Have we lost the respect? Have we lost the kids? If so, that's the real loss. I know kids this season that transfered, quit, gave up, whatever you want to call it. All stems from one thing. One single thing. Sorry for being long winded. Now this seems like something to post next Saturday morning. Definitely something the BOARD should hear in person.

That ball hit the ground. That was not a catch. Horrible call call. It bounced off the ground into his hands. Back judge called it a TD when he didn’t even have view of the catch.

Again, PA's numbers were shrinking. 2800 is more manageable than 4500 and PA had problems with Lincoln and TJ kids. All the whites that were going to TJ and Austin left. It wasn't all Peaches and cream when PA merged

Going to 3 High Schools in Baytown was the kiss of death to any gridiron aspirations in the 77521. Hell Sterling hadn't been relevant since the late 80's with the exception of 1 playoff year in the early 2000s. Finn revived a doormat on the Southside of town and doesnt get the recognition he deserves. What he has done at REL with the amount of kids hes had is nothing short of spectacular. GCCISD has made REL opt up to 5A D1 the last couple of realignments, just to keep the 3 schools in the same district, which is BS. A district should allow their member schools to play in the division they fall into(attendance). Worrying about feelings and playing time and kids feelings at the HS level does more harm to the kids in the long run. Getting your a$$ beat EVERY Friday night does nothing but drive kids away from the programs and creates a defeatist environment. Shame on GCCISD for their lack of insight, and the reputation they have EARNED for the district. "Here We Grow Giants"?????? Giant laughing stocks maybe. This is not the kids fault. The kids have been sabotaged by their supposed leaders.

Forney is really balanced. They will probably be the faster team. Their coach will seem to outcoach himself at times with personnel changes. He has a freshman running back that will be the fastest player on the field but gets taken out of the game a lot. The QB is a great game manager and is pretty accurate. The difference in this game will be the BH front 7. I think that gives them the edge. If they can slow the run game and keep pressure on the QB, they should win. Forney has a good set of receivers that can make you pay, so you can't let the QB sit back there. Forney's defense has definitely improved throughout the year but will be their undoing in this game. I say BH by 10 at home. If they play around, Forney can swing this game the other way by 2 scores.

Oh come on. You know we haven't played anyone. 7-5A is so bad. Y'all's district rules all. Crosby is fully healthy and ready to take over 5A Division One like we all knew they would at the start of the season. Driving up to overrated Longview? Easy, easy work for the Cougars.

Crosby get's the unassailable Lobos we can't win it's an impossible game why even play it.

Or on the other hand Jasper (and HF) are much better than many thought.

I always enjoyed playing Brenham win or lose they are alway a great fan base, very friendly, and the smack talk is always fun. My two favorite playoff opponents have always been Brenham and PNG. 2 of the best fan base ever. I feel like we used to always end up playing Brenham in the playoffs.

I don't think a lot of Tiger fans think Silsbee is that amazing. They've beat up on weak teams and did just enough to beat the other ones. Doesn't matter though. All that matters is winning now. Who cares about style points. Get that W.

These refs are straight homers....

Particularly in the 2nd half. Gave up that 89 yard TD pass play but nothing else. Jasper may have had a total of 100 yards of offense in 2nd half including that 89 yarder.

Caleb Dean is his name. Good humble kid who is a gym rat. Kid works hard outside of football. Not tall but thick and solid.
