He thinks the long playoff run was deceptive because we ran into run first offenses before we played Friendswood in 2008 as well as not showing up vs. WB. He also states that prior to that, we had 2 first round losses under him in the playoffs.... He don't care that the losses were to Brenham or LaMarque. I didn't give him too much of a hard time. I respect his opinions, but strongly disagree on this one...

He really is serious. Talked to him off record and he feels that way.

QB is gone and will me missed. But some good O-Linemen returns. We'll have to replace both WR's and the FB, who I believe was a 2 year starter. Defense, we have a few linemen returning, a 2 years starting and 2 time all district Linebacker returning as well. Strength will be the secondary. We have a Safety and a CB that will be 3 year starters and who are listed in the top 50 juniors in their class and position (and 1st team all district )returning. The secondary and the offensive backfield will be the strengths of this Silsbee team...

He basically have generic responses. Never really stated why he left or what Summer Creek offers that Port Arthur didn't. I have several contacts in PA and I have a general idea why he left. It would've been cool if he would've just said why he left or even hinted to why he left...
