When was the last time that you remember Central missing the playoff for 2 consecutive years? We missed the playoffs in 2004 only to win district title the following year. We missed the playoffs in 2007 only to make a 4 round playoff push the following year. Last year, we missed the playoffs... this year... ????? ;) ;) 8) 8)
This is why I have you guys in the playoff hunt. This and the return of QB Mitchell. I just hope Washington lets the kid blossom.
O-Line play should be out strength. R. Mitchell should look like his 2010 self if he have consistant recievers and/or a consistant RB.

But, it won't be running away from the back like someone stated.
Soulja, when you see our backs on a football field, you'll understand what I mean....I've been exc ited about football and there's toooo many months away. I love having this conversation.
District 20-4a 1. Nederland 2. Vidor 3. Livingston 4. Ozen 5. PN-G 6. Central 7. LC-M 8. Lumberton That said 4-7 could really be difficult to pick. Ozen no Tre Green but Jakobi, Central=questionable coaching but good athletes,PN-G lost alot but good coaching, LCM = not good defense but if Cesar plays well and stays focused. PN-G 66 I don't know where you are getting your numbers but they are highly inflated. PN-G lost the most out of the district including Bertrand, Nelson,Miller, Nicotre and Davis. I know for a fact they do not average no 265 on offense or 250 on defense, but it is nice to dream. I see them a lot myself not to mention I know a few of them lol. I believe Vidor returns the most followed by Nederland. Nederland lost 5 starter on offense 2 linemen, 2 running backs and 1 receiver. Lost 4 starters on defense 1 linebacker, 1 linemen,1 corner back, and 1 safety. Offensive line will be bigger this year and the defensive front will still be the best in 20-4a.
Very great analysis. Good stuff, man.

Nederland 2. PNG 3. Central (If Mitchell is healthy) 4. Between Vidor, Ozen and Livingston
Mitchell is 110% healthy with a slough of great athletes and some pretty good assistant coaches put in place. I like our chances.
Are you guys doing spring ball? I've heard we have a couple transfers, one from Ozen but hasn't been confirmed.
Yes, we're definatly doing spring ball this year. The only reason we didn't do it last year was because of the construction on the field house.

Six West Brook athletes sign with colleges

Two thumbs up for these young men! -
Good step in the right direction from my Jags. Bowser had WB's o-line on point since he's been there. Consistent O-Line play have been a problem for us since Stowers left in 2009. the problem was masked dueto a big playmaker RB's. I'm starting to like the direction that we're going. Also looks as if WB have upgraded their defense. Good for them.

What happened to it? It went 'mute' all of a sudden.

It just goes to show you that those Laker players are trash. It's probably a good thing that we didn't get Gasol. He may have been a waste of space as well. I have some colorful words for Fisher, but if I used them, I'd have to kick myself off of these boards.

Congrads to him. I wonder if the Dunk-o-meter will be transfered from the Hawk gym with Mr. Prudhomme?

Central's Smith to sign with Highland Community College
I liked his honesty about his game and what he needs to do to get to D1.
I agree. There was room for improvement. The athletisism is there. He's a pretty decent 3 point shooter and his midrange game developed greatly in the last year. Work on dribbles and sky is the limit. -
