I expect to see Lights Out from the Defense and Raines is gonna have the offense in the endzone all night.  Central is gonna play us hard like they do every year, but this year is gonna go to my DOGS.  Sorry Soulja, but a win this Friday is not in the cards for the Jags.
yall may have scheduled the wrong team for Homecomming!  8)
Ha ha ha.... funny, you never know Soulja.... we will see come Friday night.  Good luck to you guys and I hope everyone stays healthy
Very true...  We don't need any more injuries as I've heard that yall have a kid banged up as well.

4.
Nederland had central beat last year but let it slip away.  That does not happen this year. Dog's 31-12
A lot of teams had us beat last year, but couldn't seal the deal.. Lumberton, Livingston, Ozen, and even yall. It's how you finish.  We did finish games well last year, so the Nederland win wasn't an isolated incident.
5. Based off the fact that this is a rivalry, the score won't be lopsided.  Infact, the Bears will come to play... LC-M - 21 Vidor - 35 There will be a late Pirate TD.
6. What people don't realize is that Central may have finally found their identity.. They were playing CENTRAL Football finally.  They scrapped the other 'balogna' that we were doing.  Friday, we played in your face defense with 2 INTs (one called back for a phantom personal foul), and we had forced a few turnovers along with hard hits.  As a Jag fan, what else can you as for?  The backup QB made minimal mistakes.  Big Ned, on the other hand have been playing great.  Now, yall's stats don't jump out as far as offense, but this may be one of the better defenses that we've faced (with the exception of Memorial).  They are disciplined, wrap up, and are not intimidated by the oposing team's speed.  I remember Nederland's 'young guns' from defense last year and they were pretty salty.  A year later, I expect them to be bigger and stronger.  With everything being said, this game can hinge either way, but based on the fact that historically Central (even weak Central teams) does own Nederland in the altime series... Central - 28 Nederland - 17
7.
BMTSoulja1, you are an honorary Pirate. I'll get you a black and gold jersey if you want. Always welcome on our side of the field....I'm just broken hearted I'm not there to watch. Hopefully, by the PNG game I'll be back in the US to watch some football. Back to Manchester United and Everton....just not the same.
Thanks.  I tell you one thing.  Vidor will be around a minute if they keep playing like they did last night.
8.
With SPEED.... ;) Exciting game though, Ozen has a great qb and running back. But, I loved watching Quirante pass, tackle, tuck it and run, almost intercept... Great game #23 and all the Pirates.
I have to admit.  That Vidor QB gets my vote for player of the game.  Not only was his play on offennse was great, but that defensive play was good as he delivered a huge hit on an Ozen player. He was playing both ways and was extremely gased in the third quarter, but kept going.  Kudos to the Vidor QB.
9.
Vidor played nearly flawless fb game.Killed a few drives w/penalties but excellant game plan to keep Ozen off da field on O.Green has a great arm but w/under 2 min.in da 4th on a 3rd and 4-5 yds.needed he made a bad decision. He got flushed from the pocket scrambled loose to the west side w/3 blockers in front he launched a spiral incomplete. He only had to run a yd or 2 for a first dwn and more to keep the drive alive.Instead they punt to Vidor who turned it into the game winner. My take on the game Vidor (small/quick)but disciplined/conditioned w/excellant coaching.Ozen big/but not disciplined or conditioned.Thought the screen pass was there for the taking but didn't do it.Pirates did what they needed to do to win.
This is exactly what I got out of the game.  The screen pass I was telling the other Vidor fans was there all night.  I think Ozen should have been going to the air more.  Vidor's little roll out pass was there all night.  They did it like 2 ot 3 times.  Each time, Ozen didn't cover it at all where there were 2 receivers opened.  I think it was great that the Vidor Coach seen this and went back to it in crunch time. This was a great game. Ozen did shoot themselves in the foot wit the bad snaps and Trey Green did make a bad decision by throwing that pass when you could have just ran for a first down and then ran out of bounds, but that deep pass was there.  The pass was maybe a half an inch off.  That was a tough break.Congrads in hanging tough and winning this game on the road, Pirates.  This was a very entertaining game.  Also, I enjoyed the sports talking to the other Vidor fans (i sat on Vidor's side).
10. Soulja's gonna be in the house to represent these Panthers!  Lets get that 3-0 in district!
11. 48 Carries, 407  Yards, 8.48 YPC, 7 Rushing TD's for Collins, Livingston's QB for the season.
12. conrads on the big win, Indians.  I've gotten a rundown of this game.  Although a great win for PN-G, word is that Lumberton is not very good at all this year.  Nontheless, a win is a win, and any win is big in this district.  Good luck next week vs. the red hot Panthers!
13. There were a goup of us (Central Fans) in the stands that needed an Indian Victory to make the playoffs. It obviously benefited us as we made the playoffs and, at that time, ended up being the deepest run that we've ever made.  . Back to reality, I'll make my prediction after Ozen plays tonight.
14.
We haven't even played our game and your already saying your gonna win? After yall got beat by central tonight? They out scored yall 20-0 in the 2cd half.
No.  We outscored them 14-3 in the second half.  At one point, we did score 20 unanswered points.
15. Congrads to get a W in the books for district. I know that must feel good to get that weight off your shoulders.  Keep it going, NDN nation!
16. Another controversial game just like the 2003 game at LU!  ;D ;D
17. Congrads, Big Ned!  Way to hold Livingston's O in check. That's an amazing feat all in it's own. It will be war next week!  I tell you that much!
18. Every where we goooooo, Everywhere we goooo, People wanna knooooow, People wanna knooooow,  Whooooo we aaaare, whooooo we aaare.  Sooo we teeel them, soooo we tell them.  WEEE ARE THE TIIIIITANS, WEEEE AAAARE THE TIIIITAN, THE MIGHTY, MIGHTY TIIIITANS, THE MIGHTY, MIGHTY TIIIITANS! Congrads, Titans.  Get your popcorn, these guys are going to be here a minute!
19. All I have to say is THAT's Jags football. Someone must have heard me when I say we need to run downhill alla night.  There was no pressure on the QB.  Both TD passes wewe off the playaction. Mitchell would have flourished in the offense we ran tonight. We ran only 2 plays out the shotgun.  The rest were in your face smashmout football. Carter was a man tonight...  Especially late in the game.  When it counts.  He's my player of the game. On defense, we were very disciplined.  We made good tackles.  Our speed on defense disruped the Bears's offense in a major way. Did I mention that this was our first passin Td of the year... Time 2!  Lets go into next week with this momentum with the same game plan.  Lets test this Nederland front 4 and keep our defense rested.I know Nederlan is playing lights out and took down a very strone Livingston team, and it will be tough. Historically, we own Nederland and I hope it continues next week.  I admire our coaches being really involved in the game, as our head coach gave the refs an earfull all night for those suspect calls.  I leave believing that we believe that we are good enough to  give Nederland heck with a very confident offense.
