1. Vidor will need a few more wins under their belt against Nederland for them to see them as a  rivalry.  The only thing that the Pirates have done thus far is prove that no one (Nederland) can just bully or push them around anymore.  Gotta get some wins first, Pirates.  This could be the start to something good if you keep it up.
 2. Do this question even need to be asked?  Who do YOU think?  ;D ;D

 4. A lot of our local teams off off on a by week.  Can we be creative again this week?

 7.
I am really feeling those plays from the wishbone.  I've never seen a triple screen from the bone formation.....
Im used to seeing a more tighter compact wishbone, not spread out like that.  They run it to perfection.
 8. With the depth ar RB, the great blocking scheme and excellent defense, I see yall making a deep run in the playoffs.  What's scarey is that by talking to a LaMarque fan, yall may not even be the best
 9.

I've never seen so many missed tackles in all my life! Or were those broken tackles?  :o  good highlights. I enjoyed them.
Both but I'd have to say more missed than broken tackles however Tim W. and Brooks aren't the easiest to take down as they sometimes prefer to run right through the defender than around them instead. Especially Brooks...he's like a bowling ball knocking over pins and loving every second of it.
Was that the RB that was doing damage against my Jags in that scrimmage?
oh yes i have and i have seen some powerhouses this year and i am not trying to down memorial i hope they go far but they have alot to fix.
At this point of the season, there are a lot of teams that need to fix a lot.  But I an tell you this. Memorial probably have the less things to fix than any team around here, that includes your Indians and my Jags. They play teams on their schedule and they are beating them in convincing fasion. I think they will go far in the playoffs. I think they will beat NS this year

 13. hey, 82, all I have to say is ' you're good. That COULDN'T have been me'.  (concerning 'the situation')
 14.
I disagree that Eisenhower was terrible.... Where they a Port Arthur Memorial, or even Central? No.... but I was really impressed Jacolby Watson and Donald Catalon on the ground.... Watson has a rocket arm, but not accurate enough.... I thought the defense was outstanding in the first half and complacent in the second half.... They got a little intensity back in the OT.... Stump once again had a phenomenal game, very accurate, and if it weren't for the last series in regulation, his stats would even look better.... I was happy that Jalen Malone and Percy Johnson were big parts of the offense tonight.... Central took both of them out of the game last week.... 82, you want someone to step up and be the go to guy on offense? I'll say that #8 may already be the leader of that unit.... He needs Percy and Jalen and the rest of those receivers to help him, but he gets it done... If I'm not mistaken, West Brook has not had a turnover, and that's how you get to 3-0....
Well said!  8) 8)
 15. The long Galveston trip too a lot out of me, so I had to wait to post. Due to the Ferry delay (car broke down on Ferry), I was late, and wasn't happy about it. I arived in the second quarter.  As I was entering the building, there was a TF being scored by Central to make it 21-7 Jags..  What I do notice is that the same suspect play calling still persists after 3 weeks of football on both the offensive side of the ball and defensive. That team shouldn't have scored at all.  And on offense, we should have scored on 80% of our possessions.  Another thing. Since I missed the first quarter, I assume I missed the 80 yards of passint since I didn't see us complete one pass play (maybe I'm exagerating). I have a list of things that we can improve on for district. 1. Receivers, you have to want to catch the bal.  It won't come right to you every time.  Sometimes you have to go and get it 2.  My Qb will need to look downfield firlst befor looking at his medium, short, or his guy in the flats. 3 weeks in a row, the long guy is open down field. 3.  Stop doing stupid stuff after long plays/successful drives. Last week against West Brook, we passed the ball to set up a 1st down in their red zone.  Also last week, there was an 80 yard run for a TD.  The insuing possession, we allow an 80 yard TD return for West Brook.  Shortly after, we were faced with 4th and a mile (4 and 20 I believe).  This week, we get a huge run.  The play afterwards, a fumble.  Last night, we have a scoring opportunity Deep in Ball's terretory. We bog down and had to rely on a 33 yard FG. This week, we also allowed a huge kickoff return right after a score. 4. Please, take snaps from under Center.  I've been saying this since for 2 years now.    We run better from under center.  Would set up the pass. 5. #22 should be starting RB, IMO.  He's the bigger back (it showed on one long run as he broke like 5 tackles for a huge gain), looks like he have more explosion out the backfield, and seems to be a home run hitter once in open space(#21 is about 5'7" 150 lbs and he got run down by a D-Linemen from Ball). 6.  Open the playbook.  I see these same plays that I've been seeing since week 0.  A lot of them didn't work in week 0 and still have yet to work now. Things that I did like: 1. Our Kicker is legit!  He kicked several kickoffs out the back of the end zone and connected on all of his extra point attempts.  He also hit the 33 yarder.  Not to mention on the long Kickoff return fro Ball, he slowed down the Ball returner enough to where other players could atch him. 2.  I see we are blitzing on big downs to distrupt the opposing offense.  I like that. 3. Defense are showing swagger by laying bone crushing hits 4.Our CB are not playing 15 yards off the receiver anymore (now, only 5 yards). 5. On offense, our O-Line is blocking even better. 6.  D-lines looked pretty good for the second week in a row.  I like our chances going into district.  I just hope that the 2 week break (bye) will have us enough time to get it together and begin our defense of our 2010 20-4a district crown. (if there are any typos, please excuse me.  This was posted from the Cell Phone)
 16. 21-14 Central at halftime.  Once again..  Well nevermind.  I'l wait 'till after the game to comment...  Just know that I'm not impressed at all whatsoever.
