  1. Houston with an 8-7 win. Astros punch 11 holes in that wet paper bag. Houston now up 4 on Seattle, 5 1/2 on Texas.
  2. 4-3 Yanks headed to top of 7th. Astros with 3 runs on 7 hits. Yanks with 4 runs on 8 hits. Texas and Seattle both lost today.
  3. If she is stating that white males commit more mass shootings than any other race or sex, then how is she wrong? Now when you bring in the ratios or percentages within the races or sex, then you have an argument. I get getting a deeper dive reveals the most truth, but no one can deny the FACT that white males commit more mass shootings. It's also a fact that more white males become trans. Of course there are more white males in the country than any other race so the numbers would reflect it. But it doesn't change the fact.
  4. I agree. Quickly becoming a non-team player.

  7. FBM gets this one, 28-14
  8. Astros with a tough task tonight facing Yankee ace Max Fried. 14-5 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.11 WHIP Houston has Framber on the mound tonight.
  9. Isaac Paredes and Josh Hader are getting their follow-up imaging done today on their respective injuries, Joe Espada said.
  10. You were pointing out players having bad games. That happens. I pointed out players being called up due to half the team being on IL. That's a big difference. For some greater part of the season, Houston had to play some of their minor league guys because their major league guys were on the IL. Had nothing to do with performance. Basically due to attrition. Houston being three games up in September after playing most of their season with some minor leaguers on the roster speaks volumes of how well they have played overall. Astros to this date are still in top 5 hitting and top 5 pitching in the AL. Now do they need to get better with runners in scoring position? Yes indeed. That has definitely fallen off the last month. Also, the pitching has been stressed the last month due to a few being on IL. The team ERA has risen a bit. Came up from 3.45 to now 3.83. But that is normal for teams ERA to rise late in season. Arms get weary. All the AL teams ERA has risen the last month, including Texas who has been #1 all season. Their ERA has gone from 3.15 to 3.44. That's just the norm this time of year.
  11. I was very surprised to see it on their list of games. But they are the normal broadcast entity for Kingwood. That could play a part.
  12. I agree. What spot he was in the batting order plays a lot in those results. Also, what teams they were playing. I agree. Baseball is nothing but numbers. lol

  15. Astros record this year with Jose Altuve at: 2B: 21-23 LF: 27-16 DH: 24-22 The Astros are 25-11 when Dubon starts at 2nd.
  16. I know some peeps that will be on Woodville's sidelines and up in the press box (our broadcast team that does all Woodville games). I will ask them what's going on with why the pee wee greats are not being played or at least not being played in the right positions. Pretty sure this isn't a completely new coaching staff at Woodville. Obviously a new head coach and a couple of others. But at least half or more on the staff have been there for some years. They should know the personnel of the team and who are the better players. I simply cannot believe that the new HC isn't relying a bit on these coaches info to start the season. Along with seeing for himself thru the practices and scrimmages. He is just "winging it"??? C'mon man!!
  17. Time to move on to this week's games.
  18. Not so fast my friend. I got EC by 7-10.
  19. DCTF is only doing top 10 in 5A DI and down. Only top 25 in 6A. They only do top 25 for Preseason rankings.
  20. Orangefield, 47-7
  21. I'll be on the sidelines for this one. Got to see for myself all these great players riding the bench at Woodville.
