Silsbee and Vidor businesses has stepped to the plate and have paid for their home town schools to be broadcast on SETXsports.

Not being involved with this game emotionally, I can still see that this game is important to both communities. It's just not going to feel right not having an Orange Bowl this coming football season. I would have liked to have seen it continue. BUT!!! I believe Coach Crouch knows what's best for his football program and will do what's best to help build his football program. If Randy feels that this benefits the Bears in the overall scheme of things, then so be it. I am in no position to criticize the man. But again, I have never been part of this game. Hopefully this game will start back up in the fall of 2012.

[/quote] Well, I can tell you this much, I have seen Legacy, Kelly and Big Sandy this season and yes you are right, Kountze would blow out all of these teams. But I do know that Kelly and Big Sandy would be much better games for Kountze than the Legacy game. Silsbee beat Legacy in the Big Sandy tourney 125-54. But like it was mentioned, maybe Legacy was the only team to agree to play. We'll never know. ;) ::)

38 times is a crazy amount of turnovers. That's just terrible.

Well, all I know is if I had to start a team and got to choose whoever I wanted out of 21-3A, I would start with Felts of Orangefield. He may not be the best pitcher, but he is by far the best player in the entire area. Felts will be the only player from this class locally to play professionally at a high level.

Silsbee has 6 varsity football players on their varsity basketball team, with two of them, Hill and Lane, being starters. Hill, Lane, Simmons and Barrett were all 1st team all district football players, while Busby was a second team all district player.

That's right Chad. SETXsports have contracts with Silsbee and Vidor to broadcast their athletics.

I also heard that Tiger has requested to tourney officials to not allow any women to attend this tournament because of his clinical disease he has and that the clinic he attended has instructed him to follow the guidelines that they have set forth which is to not look at another woman for 6 months.

The Bridge City Cardinals will visit the Tiger Den Friday night to take on the #5 state ranked, #1 HoopInsider Silsbee Tigers in 21-3A district action. The Cards (12-16, 2-4) are coming off a loss to Hardin-Jefferson, 74-45, while the Tigers (23-2, 6-0) defeated WOS Tuesday night, 58-44 to remain undefeated in district play and extend their win streak to 15.
