I guess the Vidor residents would be your biggest customer atm and you try to appeal to them.
WTB, I think you are missing the whole point here. Vidor baseball is being broadcast here on SETXsports because VIDOR sponsors have paid for them to be broadcast here. Therefore, the broadcasts will have a Vidor flavor to it. It's no different when we do Silsbee, Newton, Kirbyville, Vidor and Lumberton football games here. They will be broadcast in the manner of them being the home broadcast, nothing nuetral about it. Those towns have sponsors paying for the broadcasts to be here and they want their schools promoted. Now we occassionaly do some neutral games when we get the opportunity, but our obligations are towards our paying sponsors.
 2. It was just a scrimmage. Nothing really to report on. The spring game will bring them out (media)
 3. I have to wonder why LCM is even playing this game. Played district game last night and will play another district game Monday night.
 4.
now dan, can stay around ten more years and let the guy that knows not a thing about football stay on the hardwood. better yet why dont the superintendent  appoint himself
There are many basketball coaches that are AD's. It's not about knowing football. Skip showing his ignorance again. ::)
 5.
I was told that the Superintendent just promoted the basketball coach as asst. AD and when  Hooks retires he will become AD.The school board and Superintendent didn't have any money back in the summer to bus the kids from extracurricular activities and that it didn't do anything to promote education.  They overspent on fixing up the front of the building by over 2 million dollars (which didn't do anything to promote education) and now they are taking a coach out of a classroom (which they are going to have to fill with another person) and promoting him to a position that has never existed before at WOS and giving him extra funds. ....."how about promoting someone who has been loyal and has given 30+ years of service to the district and who is deserving of it?"  It's just proof that the powers to be, can do anything they want to do and don't care who they hurt in the process.
Old news. Newton was brought here to be the new AD. ;)

Sorry Picnroll......talking about the 3a game..heard a couple of rumbles on this site...but could not find anything on tx hoops....
3 or 4 postings on March 12-13. They name the Dallas chapter in the 3A Girls Championship game. It was pretty poor and just looking at second hand info(which I usually dont do) the posters say the Officials were reprimanded immediately after the game........With no personal interest in the outcome I would have to say it was a below average job but again not an easy job to do. I have in all the years I have been associated with the game only one objection to officiating and it isnt done by all officials. As an official scorer I have been asked at halftime by some officials what the foul count was on both teams and if anyone was in foul trouble. Now I understand the officials have the right to look at the official book but wouldnt it be better if they simply asked the official scorer if there were any problems with the book rather than look at foul count? Not all officials do this but those that do raise some eyebrows at the scoring table especially if coaches overhear them. Im not even sure what the UIL allows the referees to do and maybe you could PM me and fill me in on this. I would appreciate it. My thought is I would like the officials to check with the official scorer at half and just see if everything is OK with the book and there are no discrepencies. I dont want them to know who has how many fouls ;) (Help me out here)
What I put in bold in your post is very disturbing to me. I hope this is not regularly going on.
