Like I said, it has nothing to do with Nederland. If it would have been LCM, Vidor or whoever in Nederland's shoes, I would have posted the same. My posts regarding the 22-4A playoff teams has nothing to do with the teams itself, but with the district tiebreaker rules. It is a big joke with me and some of my fellow admins and mods. We talked about it on our Monday night high school preview show. Obviously you didn't catch the show or you might would understand. It's okay. Again, the remark about the scoreboard was for Joey's sake. He had made the thread without knowing that Nederland was out of the playoffs. I was giving HIM a hard time, not the Dogs. Okay, I am through explaining myself. ;D

First of all, it was a dig at my friend Joey, not at the Dogs. Secondly, I'll put it on as many threads as I so choose. Third, the remark about class doesn't bother me, folks that know me, know what I am about. You keep on posting though. ;D

No need to scoreboard watch, logic prevailed.

So, they listened to me afterall. It's good to know how influential I am and that logic previals. Glad to know they came to their senses. ;D

To DickyV and Tigersvoice, kudos to you guys for your posts. I couldn't have said it any better.

According to 22-4A BASBALL rules, they play everything off. : First place, second, third. I even think the rest of the teams that don't qualify for the playoffs will play games to determine who is 4th, 5th, 6th, .......... ;D

So I take it we are playing good cop, bad cop. I am pretty sure I know which one I am. ;D

My prediction, the Orange County neighbors look out for each other, Vidor intentionally walks in the winning run, LCM wins 3-2, Nederland stays home. ;D

Why pitch Hester? I would save him for the bi-district playoff. Vidor really doesn't need this game, they have clinched.

IMO, LCM should have cllinched after tonight. With a one game lead over Nederland with one game to play, and also having swept the series with Nederland, the Bears could lose to Vidor and still be in because of the head to head advantage LCM has over Nederland. But like the late John Belushi used to say " But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!" 22-4A has this lame tie breaker. Go figure.

That clinches a playoff spot for Vidor. Now it's down to LCM and Nederland. The question now is, does Vidor take it easy Friday night against LCM and not take any risks with their starting pitchers? This could spell doom for Nederland.
