I agree, the dunks are real nice, but trying to get them every trip down the floor will cost them. Last night against Jasper Kountze tried the alley-oop 4 straight trips up the floor when the Lion lead was still in single figures. That kind of foolish play will backfire eventually. There were about 5 other times that either Walker or Brey tried to dunk and failed. Just get the two points, that's all that matters.

Just found out some vital info on Pleasant Grove. HJ should roll this team.

I was told that the game between these two next week on the 15th is still at HJ. These two teams have agreed to play another game on Jan. 2 at Ford Park. This game will be the first of a double header with the second game being the Semi-Pro team here in Beaumont. The EC/HJ game on that Saturday will start at 5pm.

It is my understanding that the UIL chapter has more members than the TASO chapter and that the number of area schools are about evenly split on who is using what chapter. TASO may have a couple more schools than the UIL therefore the TASO chapter may be a little short handed.

The OC At WVU (Jeff Mullins) will be in Silsbee today to do a home visit with JJ and family. This is his third trip to Silsbee. The Head coach Bill Stewart will be visiting sometimes in January. Coach Tadamy of TCU will be in on Tuesday to visit with Jeremy.
