All Silsbee home football games, varsity down to 7th grade, are played at Tiger Stadium. Look for turf real soon.

All Tiger fans need to attend tonight's Bonfire at Silsbee High School. Bonfire festivities will start at 6:45 and lighting of the Bonfire at 7:15.

All games will be played in Bridge City tonight. Trying to keep the field at Tiger Stadium in the best shape possible for tomorrow night's game. The middle school games were to be scheduled to play at Tiger Satdium, but now moved to Bridge City. Also, Silsbee's Bonfire will be out at the high school tonight so there will be no conflict of the two events that were scheduled at the high school.

TD, no my post wasn't a direct response to your's. I was just pointing out that 17 years of age is not a minor. I assume every senior and some juniors are at this age already. Saying that some of these kids names are being withheld because they are minors is false. Not all these kids are minors. They are being withheld for other reasons and I agree with that.

First of all, one of the player's is not a minor. He is no more a minor than the two football players from Silsbee who's name was plastered all over KFDM when the cheerleader rape case went public. I don't have a problem keeping the names of these kids off the boards, but let's not be two-faced about it. Don't claim it the reason being he is a minor. That simply is not the case.

The number is enrollment, not how many attended on that one day. Whatever the enrollment is up to today is the number that will represent the school. So, half the school's enrollment could miss today but it will not change how many students are enrolled in the school.

Personally, I fully expect that to happen.

Can you replay it again tomorrow. I am taking the family out to eat. I still do not know who won. j/k ;D ;D No can do. Have a job interview tomorrow and then off to Tiger Stadium to do my scoreboard duties. Plus, some folks seem to be a little sensitive to the replaying of this game.

I understand what you are asking Silsbee88, but points are points. I would have to go back through all the other 21-3A games to see if any other defenses scored. Maury doesn't keep up with that.

and if the Tigers would not have dropped the snap on the punt that got blocked for a WOS TD, the Stangs would have scored 0 points. And if Silsbee had not fumbled the snap on a first and goal from the 6 yardline, Silsbee scores another TD, giving them 21 points. And if Silsbee....... we can do this what if too.

First of all, I did not delete your post. I will be replaying all of Silsbee's district games regardless of outcome simply because some of our sponsors have requested that I do. If Silsbee would have lost or had played someone else to start district it would not have mattered. The replay would have still happened.
