Silsbee has had two McDonald's AA nominees (McArthur and Harris) and two that have played in NBA (David Brown and James Simmons). Anyone's top 5-10 has to include those four. I will say, that having the three point line has benefitted greatly to players amassing these point totals. Also, players like Harris, Miller, McArthur, Bush and McCain all started as freshmen. So they had four years to accumulate these numbers. It was very rare back in 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's for a freshman to start at Silsbee. It happened, but not nearly as often as it has the last decade. There were some that played varsity as freshmen, but did not start. I could name several players that many of you do not know that I think would qualify for most top 10 at Silsbee. Like I said, being the all time scorer in Silsbee history is a big thing but not necessarily makes you the all time best.
