Astros pitching is pulling it's weight. 3rd best team ERA in American League (3.46). Top 5 in save opportunities and WHIP. Top 3 in strikeouts.
Houston's team batting is currently middle of the pack in AL with team batting average at .226. Hitting is getting better over the last 10 games bringing that average up from .204.
If the Astros can continue to pitch this well and the hitting continues to improve, then I can see Houston atop the division by the All Star break.
Westwood head basketball coach will be interviewed and likely offered the head basketball job at Silsbee.
If Bryant takes the job, his star sons will come with him.
Everyone that I have spoken to says Jones is staying in Silsbee.
We will see.
In order to be eligible for next season, he would need to transfer now. Otherwise, he takes a risk of not being signed off on or DEC rules him leaving for athletic purposes. If so, he would have to sit a year from when he enrolled at what school he transfers to.
It's not as easy at it may seem.
My guess is that Bryant wouldn't be long term. As soon as his last son graduates, he would be gone. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he and his younger son left before he graduated.
Both Travis and Tremaine would be here for a while. Travis would likely retire here.
Jacob would definitely be here for many many years. He is a Silsbee Tiger through and through.
