Houston with the 10-7 win. Abreu gets a 4 out save. All four outs via the strikeout.

Orioles won't go away. 7-6 after 7.

Dubin in to relieve McCullers in 5th. Lance only goes 4 innings. Can't get much more than 4 from him all season.

Walker with a 3 run bomb. 7-3 Stros, middle 5th

McCullers now with 5 BB's through first 4 innings. 87 total pitches SMH

Lumberton will struggle this year.

You are allowed only one throw over to first per inning. Another one of those rule changes to speed up play like the pitch clock.

I know the scrimmage was moved to Lumberton and is being played. Have not heard anything yet.

McCullers got out of a bases loaded jam in the first. Gave up a hit and 2 BB's. Did get 2 K's. McCullers has walked entirely too many batters this season.

Burton is ranked #25 in state in 2A DII. Fellow district mate Granger is #18. In their region (Region IV) is #2 Shiner, #12 Junction, #14 Falls City and #22 Brackettville. Burton is 12 miles east of Brenham on Hwy 290. Known for it's smokehouse. Love their sausage.

He's allowed to practice and scrimmage without being eligible.

2A DII Burton. smh Let's see if Bartlett, Granger, Iola, McDade, Milano, Snook and Somerville agree to this transfer.

In regards to Vidor/Nacogdoches/Jasper scrimmage, another very reliable source told me Jasper looked very undisciplined on both sides of the ball. Lot's of penalties, missed assignments and too much extra curricular going on. Heard this was the case last week as well.

My source is very reliable. (on the job)

The Astros put Taylor Trammell on the injured list with a “cervical muscle strain” and recalled Brice Matthews from Triple-A

He has participated. Would be no different than a player transferring after playing last season. If it is determined the transfer is for athletic reasons (which this one would clearly be) then he will be ineligible. I can't see any DEC ruling him eligible. No matter if he establishes residency. Also, the word I am getting on this situation is this young man has got the wrong people in his ear telling him he doesn't have to go by the team rules. They had some issues last season. Not a team player. Thinks he is above the team and should be treated special. He came in this season with the attitude that you can't win without me so therefore treat me that way. Brenham will never sign off on him and whatever district he transfers to (if he does) that DEC will not rule him eligible. I will say, if he were to transfer, his best bet would be with Navasota. It's possible that the two Fort Bend schools (Crawford and Willowridge) along with Stafford, could vote in his favor just to keep the opportunities open for themselves when transfers come their way. He would need to transfer now so that DEC can make the ruling. Next year a different DEC could be in play with realignment.

Doesn't work that way.

Yordan Alvarez 3-3 tonight with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. The Astros slugger is 5-7 during his rehab assignment. This is his second game with the Hooks

This is what was basically explained to me.

Lumberton at Hamshire-Fannett scrimmage has been rescheduled for tomorrow evening, 5:30pm

I agree.

Where is @BMTSoulja1 to refute this nonsense?

In Orangefield/Silsbee scrimmage: OF 1st team scored on 3 long TD passes. Silsbee 1st team scored 3 rushing TD's and 1 passing TD. Orangefield had lots of trouble running on the Silsbee defense. Silsbee run game looked very solid. Tiger secondary will have to improve. Lot's of blown coverages. With no contact on the QB, it is hard to assess how the Silsbee QB will be. Many times he could have tucked and ran with it and they never really ran a read option due to the no contact. I think he will bring a dynamic to that position that Silsbee has not had since the Jeremy Johnson and Patrick Reed days.

Also was told West Brook dominated Nederland tonight. Was not given any score but said it was very one sided.

Was told score of PN-G/LC-M scrimmage. 23-7 PN-G
