BISD needs to change their way of thinking with this next hire. No more hiring friends, family, retreads, etc. Go outside the box and hire an up and coming coordinator and let him bring in his own staff. Would be amazed and what success they could have with that formula.

But the difference is, McGallion was successful in comparison to United.

You made the comparison. Not me. But I am used to you getting butt hurt from folks outside of BISD making comments. Funny thing is, you go out of your way to do that yourself in regards to negative things outside Beaumont. It's comical.

And you alluded to Silsbee prior to Smith as if it was terrible times. Yes, Smith has accomplished more than McGallion did but McGallion had success, unlike United. McGallion made playoffs every year but three in his 18 years at Silsbee. Advanced past 2nd round 9 times and made regional finals two times. That's pretty successful IMO. United........ well
