Exactly... we are young the Junior and Sophomore class is strong and I hope what the rumor wind is true a certain player and family is moving back to Nederland from Atascocita... Which is a HUGE welcome back...

That BH game you speak of was the weirdest atmosphere I have ever attended in regards of a Nederland game. That game should have been moved to Saturday but they chose to play it that night and had a few weather delays, wanna say game didn’t end til close to 1am. Yes I understand BH had to play in it too I get that. But kudos to BH coaches keep their kids energized and ready to go.... Nederland came out so flat and no energy after a long day that day with Homecoming festivities. Only game I have ever seen come out more flat and terrible was probably 08 Dayton game...

Yeah I know what you mean, Parking is absolutely terrible. One day I hope they can fix the issue... I as well wish we did play each other many great games and battles played against each other. Always came out a better tougher team after the game was over regardless of the score. Maybe after 2 years we will play again and you can check out the new field

I had this conversation before with some people.... You will always upset someone and somebody that’s the nature of the beast. But IMO I believe it needs to be a split big school and a little school D1 and D2 in all Sports. Have a set up where Even years The Big school plays the first set of games weekend 1 then Little schools play the following weekend championship games and they alternate every year. Stagger the playoffs so it won’t have that week off and the athletes can play straight through. More money for UIL, more of a fair shot at the other sports because you can’t use enrollment numbers as a excuse. You build rivalries through football, basketball, baseball instead of play in football but won’t see you in basketball till playoffs etc.

Let’s see track practice is going on. Nederland Bulldog relay is Feb 14. Plus middle school track meet and the elementary track meet at the end of the year. It doesn’t take long for the turf to put in. Vidor just did theirs this past summer. It will be done in a timely manner
