We need to hit better for average and w/ men in scoring position....although lately it has picked up some.

I'm not touching that one. I do have a real question though ? What happened @ LCM in just a week's time ? I'm talking about last week, I'm reading posts that "our boys are so focused on playing as a team that we can't post our HR stats...because we are a team, etc., etc. And there is certainly nothing wrong with that. That's just one example. A week later I'm reading about selfish players who don't want to get dirty....play guys that want to win, etc. I will say that I do not believe that this game was indicative of the team and talent that LCM has. As an outsider, I look for LCM to bounce back. I guess that's why I ask my question....maybe there's something "an outsider" isn't seeing...I don't know...Just seems a little odd to go from one extreme to the other in a week. Just my two cents. To quote a popular movie (Top Gun) "That MIG really shook him up"...change "MIG" to "PNG" and "him" to "them". It's like a strong punch to the head...not enough to knock you out, but enough to ring your bell. Some of our guys seem to be lethargic, and MAYBE a couple of pine splinters will release them from their grogginess. Regardless, no matter who Coach Griff plays, he will play to win. I guess some of our own fans have seen the struggles, and many times in our own kids, that they want the team to refocus as a team. It'll come back... LOL....love the analogy...Good answer. No music was played trying to distract the pitcher.. That is a flat out lie!! The only music played was between innings and each player has walk-up music. Get your facts straight before you post! If, and I stress if, music is distracting you on the mound. You simply do not need to be pitching.

Man Barbers Hill has a good team this year. Good job over there with that program. Appreciate the props Gabe. But I tell you man, if we do not hit the ball more consistently ( not talking HR's) we ain't going too far.

LOL LOL from this sde of the river also!!! ;D I heard that CC Moody looks pretty good this year. ;) I saw Moody last year and the looked liked the Dominican National Team. They could have beaten any of the 5A schools at state tourny last year. Pretty good this year ??? Pretty good every year. They can draw from to many players. My quote of "pretty good this year" was tongue-in-cheek or light sarcasm. Moody is loaded.............again.

I stand corrected..you are right ( I checked out first ;D ) So it is : BH (9-0) Huffman (7-2) GP and New Caney (6-3) and Crosby (in-trouble). I take it you are a GP fan. If so, props to you..I've been at every BH game this year ( I have a vested interest). Other than a few teams we played in tourneys..GP w/ Frank on the mound, best w/ seen. Another 21-4A game tomorrow night w/ implications... @ BH. New Caney vs. The Hill. I'm pulling for the 'Jackets to make the playoffs...they impressed me/us/BH. 07, You think GP pitching was better than Bay City? Oops...other than a few teams we played in tournaments and Bay City. Bay City was season opener. I cannot remember that for back. ;D Are you going to the game tonight and did you save me any crawfish ? I will be doing another 1000 or 1200lbs this Tuesday after work.
