Honestly losing our DT #55 Cory Richardson was probably one of if not the biggest loss for our defense of the 8 starters that graduated… He is at UMHB now. The junior transfer is 6’1 240 and has definitely made a big impact taking some of the attention off of DJ Sanders… But really DE/LB # 0 Dante Keys has really been playing well… He has offers from Wyoming, North Texas, Texas State, and UTEP… He has really come on strong the last few weeks and will cause some issues

Looking at their schedule.. only 2 of those 3 losses they were at full strength… At OT loss to a top 10 4A D1 (Bay City) and and a OT loss to Bellville

Their offense is legit…Defense is average…

Honestly I didn’t see Madisonville losing to Gatesville … that was kinda a surprise…

Yeah going from basically 6’3 to 6’5 is a big plus as well 😂

Yeah it shouldn’t be as bad as last year… Bellville defensively took a step back from last year losing 8 starters on defense.

The key to scoring points on Bellville is being able to consistently attack our secondary… that is the weak spot defensively. If you can give the QB enough time to find the open WR then you can score. Now running the ball against Bellville is a different story… the run defense has been pretty solid.. only two teams have successfully moved the ball consistently on the ground vs Bellville… Celina and Columbus… both of which have above average O lines (Celina has the best O line in 4A IMO) and both have RBs that will play D1 ball. Bellville’s Dline has been playin much better the past few weeks…

Because LCM isn’t a top 10 ranked team…So naturally I was just curious if they had everyone

Did the QB play for Long Tree? Or did they use the backup? I was told they are 10 times better on offense when he plays

Once again I think Bellville just out matches Silsbee in the trenches…I imagine DD Murray plays this week after sitting out Bi District vs Connally… If he plays I see a 42-14 outcome… if not Bellville may not score that high.

Great game! I don’t think this kid gets enough credit sometimes.. last year I heard people say “Oh anyone can throw it up to a 4 star WR and those other weapons he has” Well those goes have graduated and this kid is still leading his team to wins

I was surprised FB Crawford made the playoffs they were pretty rough… but good for them making it in for their first varsity season!
