HJ fan here, sitting on the HJ side. Looked to me on the technical foul that he screamed directly down at the player who had just fallen off his back onto the ground. Either way, should’ve absolutely gotten one for a push I he delivered to an HF player earlier in the half, albeit at a less crucial moment. I did think there was a foul on the turnover with 11 seconds left, but I didn’t like the option of giving your guy the ball hemmed in between the half court line and the out of bounds line, where he had nowhere to go with the ball and no angles to pass once he was triple teamed.

Tip off for varsity in 13 minutes. I’m sitting on the HJ side tonight. Tough for me, being an HJ alum and an HF transplant, but I gotta root for a district championship tonight

Hell of a game. HJ comes back from nearly 20 down to tie, HF up 2 late, HJ with a 3 to win it that goes off the glass and halfway down before popping out. HF jv wins 61-59, mostly on the shoulders of their varsity move in who isn’t eligible until next season

Nice to see HF getting some support. Stands full for the jv game, and they have some good players. I came to a game a few years ago and sat on the HF side and there might’ve been 20 people for a varsity game

It’s my understanding an important HJ player is out tonight with injury.

HF could beat HJ, but they’re still only 4-6 in district. Their chances of pulling off a second massive upset in a couple of weeks isn’t great.

All jokes aside, it’s been a heck of a run by the tigers against the hawks, and I’m really enjoying the rivalry feeling like a rivalry this year. I hope they play next year, and I hate that they’re not going to be fighting it out for the district championship again.
