  1. Not many soccer fans on the site. Football, basketball, and baseball gets a lot more interest on here
  2. I don't know, I didn't read it, as I stated.
  3. Could you post them for me? I'm just curious. He's dating my neighbor, and seems like a really good kid, and I hear he's a beast of a pitcher.
  4. Sure did. I shook my head and said to myself "nope, not reading cnsnews."
  5. Anyone have Sundgren's numbers for the year so far?
  6. finding a way to sensibly legalize immigration, which is going to happen whether it is legal or not, will also allow us to much better regulate behavior of said immigrants, as well as gain the ability to properly tax them and receive payment into SS and medicare. if they're already committing a crime simply by being here, then there's little to no incentive to follow laws such as learning traffic laws to gain a drivers license. by being allowed to be a law-abiding citizen, they will be more inclined to follow all laws in order to maintain that status. Just my two cents.
  7. Heard both of them might be gone as well, but hopefully not.
  8. i'm glad that you said this, because i read through the whole thread and was thinking to myself that nobody in their right mind would read this thread and feel like Christianity is something they'd want to be a part of.
  9. every time you go to church you're getting a man's interpretation of God's word. Every church interprets differently, and every church thinks their interpretation is right.
  10. HJ and Gatesville at Crockett HS, 6 pm Friday
  11. HJ vs. Center Friday, 8 pm. Crockett HS
  12. so i can interpret and worship however i want, then, correct? because if the holy spirit didn't want it that way, it would not be that way?
  13. i have them in an upset.
  14. with Saladin and Roberts graduating, next year's HJ team (and the year after) are shaping up to be entirely Parquet's team. I would imagine it would be similar to when Bosha was there and everything went through him the last couple of years. There might be some belief that HJ doesn't have a real great chance of making a playoff run the next couple of years, but realistically, i don't see Kelly making one either. They were vastly improved this year, but still struggled against the big schools in district and the playoffs. Family could also be the driving factor behind a possible move. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
  15. What an incredible game!
  16. That game gave my bruised and battered bracket a little life in my money group
  17. Wow! Wisconsin just hit two treys in the final 11 seconds to win!
  18. I can't believe I just saw that. NIU involved in two of the crazy early round finishes I've ever seen. They just completely fell apart.
  19. I thought sfa got screwed a little at the end. Looked like a good offensive board with a minute left that would've given sfa the chance to run off more clock and possibly extend the lead to two possessions with around 30 seconds left, and I thought it was a very soft foul call that gave ND two free throws to cut the lead to one instead of giving the ball back to sfa with :45 left up three. Tough breaks. SFA gave them all they wanted and more
  20. Man, I'm still sick to my stomach over that game. On a positive note, I finished 3rd out of 7336 in a $1 NBA daily fantasy contest tonight and won $300, so that was pretty cool, although just like the Longhorns, I lost my lead at almost the last possible second or I woulda won $700
  21. Curious to see what Texas does today. I don't like Texas' matchups at all, but at the same time nobody wants to play them. They could easily lose their first round game, and aTm is a horrible 2nd round matchup, but you know the ags don't want any part of them either. Texas could go out in the first round or make it to the elite 8. They're up and down this year, but I like Shaka's chances up getting to the final four in the next 3-4 years, though.
  22. Rayburn is a flood control reservoir. Toledo Bend is a hydro-electric reservoir. Toledo's first concern is the integrity of the hydroelectric equipment and the dam. I don't think they handled this well at all, but there's a reason they're releasing water while Rayburn is holding it. Toledo also got significantly more rain (18 inches) than Rayburn did, even though they're pretty close to each other.
  23. Can I drive your cart? Tips accepted, but not expected.
