Don’t feel bad. A lot of us would have lost money betting against it. 19 seniors, 18 starters? Back to state? Get the heck outta here. Oh wait... I don’t deny WOS has some great athletes, but they are not even a large school anymore for their classification. They have lost a ton of kids who moved out (there were a few LCM Bears this year that would have been gangbusters at WOS as well). What they have is one of the greatest defensive minds this state has ever seen and parents who trust the coaches to do their jobs. They outwork and outprepare virtually everyone (again coaching), and believe it or not millennials, that is still a recipe for success. And while Coach T couldn’t go to High Island and win state or send a kid to Saban or the Seahawks, what he could do is make almost any team, anywhere better. And there are a lot of schools (one or two even in this area) that have very good programs that he would push to the next level IMO (I.e., state). Lucky for the Mustang faithful, Coach T learned home is where the heart is and will retire one day as yet another Texas High School coaching legend from the fruit city...

Actually might be a blessing in disguise. Can’t chalk this one up to losing to a bigger school. Good teaching moment for Coach Sig and staff. Can’t look past anyone. Every team isn’t going to concede that it’s Yates vs Silsbee for State. Tigers will be fine. They just need to trust the process and be coachable.

When the 3 ball is falling they can be very good. I think that’s what Soulja is talking about when he says PAM will lose a game in district. On paper, they are double digit favorites over everyone. But catch Central or Ozen on a hot night and the Titans off a little, they can be beaten. Personally won’t be shocked either way. -

Agreed. I may disagree with Eng on some issues, such as this one, but he doesn’t deserve that!
-
Stop bringing logic into this discussion!
-
Sport, I have already offered to put my money where my mouth is when it comes to proving which classroom we belong. Specifically, in a quantifiable exam measuring solely one’s logical and analytical reasoning (of which you seem to be pretty self-impressed). But I understand - you want no part of that. After all, one can’t bluster or name call one’s way through such a test. And you would have ZERO chance of winning such test anyway. You could conceivably tie - but I would put another obscene side bet against that as well. Carry on to the fifth grade now lol
-
It is not solely man’s cause, nor is that the claim. But exacerbation, that’s another issue entirely...
-
Wait - my bad. I forgot Engy has his own scientific troup - tin foil hats and all!
-
Reading comprehension - NOT your friend lol
-
This concern is as laughable as you general premise on the subject. In point of fact, despite your kind’s best efforts, the exact opposite has been the general effect.
-
That is an idiom for the most intelligent people.

Once again, you post a wordy dissertation that amounts to no more than “nuh uh.” The fact that you quote “facts” that there are no facts is what leads me to believe you have merely been spoon fed the hypothesis that you regurgitate over and over. I HIGHLY doubt you have read more than I have on this subject. But the bet to which you allude is useless, since it is unquantifiable (unlike a previous bet I proposed). But here is one study that has been endorsed by virtually every scientific organization in the world (if we are talking actual science - not the junk deny, deny, deny by those whose agenda it does not fit and who shovel it in the gullets of those hangers on who may die in ignorance. The answer to some of the questions you ask are located therein: [Hidden Content]

I have seen very, very little of that show other than a few clips. I have heard much more of Limbaugh than those ladies. But from I can gather, they target a similar audience, albeit from different sides of the aisle so to speak.
-
I recommended you click on each link. It is obvious to me you need to read each one to help you gain a better understanding of the topic (which you consistently display, to those who actually do have a grasp of it, a severe lack of any such understanding). I am being sincere when I say “all of them.” I am not here to teach a science class. But I am happy to provide the data for one to educate themselves, if they are so capable. And I think you didn’t read them because you didn’t. If you’re honest, you would admit that.
-
I would highly recommend it. It is obvious who his target audience is. Let’s just say it’s not the sharpest knives in the drawer. If he were honest, even Rush would admit this.
-
So you haven’t read any of it. Thanks for confirming the obvious. I would suggest clicking on all of them and reading. Let me know if you need me to help explain any of the data or concepts to you.
-
You can click on those little link thingys in the post you shared and read all kinds of scientific data and analyses. It is not my fault that you either (a) have not done so, or (b) did not understand what you were reading. After all, it is much easier to simply regurgitate what you hear on the Dr. Limbaugh show...
-
Yes, yes that’s a proper analogy. The litany of scientific organizations who have endorsed the IPCC report be darned! Dr. Engy has once again proclaimed “NUH UH!” Thus, it must not be so...
