West Orange-Stark 61 Huffman-Hargrave 58/FINAL

Tsk tsk. Good job stangs! -
Hurt his shoulder in the UTSA game diving for a ball. Out for a few weeks I think. Kasen got concussed against Southern Miss. Going through the protocol now. What a shocker they have struggled against this schedule with arguably their two best players. Just need to get healthy. Also will be getting back the 6-7 juco sniper (stretch 4 who rebounds) in January. He’s been out all season with a hand injury. For those of you that are mathematically deficient, that’s 60% of your starting lineup. Tough to win games like that unless you are playing cupcakes.

And obsession with your former rival. And being made to vote FOR your former rival after you were supposedly told you were the only belle at the ball (aggy always has been the ugly little sister after all). And then realizing you are now headed back to where you’ve always been, and the ride amounted to nothing more than a couple of conference wins (wins, not championships). So yeah, I understand the heartache.

Not even close. But they will be well coached, of course, and should be in the picture for one of the last playoff spots. -

Yes, best football player is one of the two best basketball players (their PG). -
Never ceases to amaze me how bad some of these are. You can only hope they are better at coaching than predicting.

More of a laugh than a rise. Sometimes it appears he’s trying his darndest to win Gomer of the Year. His beloved aggy is getting kiffined and he’s posting about the Longhorns. The obsession is as funny as it is real.

Exciting News coming from Lamar Basketball !!
TxHoops replied to gonelsons's topic in Lamar Sports Forum
I believe Lamar is full. Not sure about the Jacks. But this would be for next season, I would think, so they both probably have room. -
And as much as we miss the ton of work he put into this site, we miss his quick wit and insightful posts more. He was one of a kind and irreplaceable in every sense of the word. But thank you to Mike (and Lisa) for doing all you can to try and pick up the slack. As bullets said, I don’t think it will ever be like it was. That’s what happens when you try to replace the irreplaceable.

Exciting News coming from Lamar Basketball !!

Best of luck to him. Tough sometimes when you commit somewhere and you have a coaching change. Thought that was going to be a really good fit for him. Hope he finds his perfect spot. Hard to find a kid with his skill set and heart. -
National treasure (and owner of aggy).

Absolutely. Just following the blueprint of being mediocre at best in the Big 12 before jumping the SEC. Isn’t that the move?

Jabari Rice is one of my all time favorite kids. This league is going to be really fun to watch. Kind of surprised Savion Flagg isn’t on any of the preseason lists.

Top Returning Players for 2021/22
TxHoops replied to BADSANTA's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Kid can really go. He kind of got overshadowed playing summer ball with Arceneaux and Griggs (among others). Thought he really had a chance to have his recruitment explode in the right situation. However, I think Coach Brooks and Lamar have a really good shot of this kid. -
Tech’s a better gig than Baylor. Maybe not recently, but certainly historically. With realignment, Baylor has mid major written all over it.
-
My guess is Sonny Dykes or Traylor. Either one would be a vast improvement over anyone they’ve had since Leach (IMO). The Wells hire was out of left field, and the alumni aren’t happy with the offense’s production, especially given Cumbie is making like $750k a year as an OC. That why I think Hocutt hires one of those two. “Safest” hires for that particular job. Personally, I think Dykes is about as good as it gets for Tech. He’s been successful everywhere he’s been and Tech would a destination job for him.
-
Yeah he was below average for sure. He got hired by the Cardinals thanks to Sean McVay. Having Kyler hasn’t hurt.

And we found the game of the week.
