Who knows what was going on in this guy’s mind? I think some people wake up in the morning and decide that this will be the day that they die. They then proceed to bring about that situation by wielding a machete at a police officer, knowing full well the consequences.....does not matter. Sometimes they want to take someone with them. Agree with you and Mat. If the convicted felon is an American citizen, then he/she should be able to vote and serve jury duty. As for the firearms, like you said , they can get them. My stance is, if you cant trust a convicted criminal with a firearm, who has paid their debt to society and supposedly been rehabilitated under our penal guidelines, then why are they out of jail?

Let’s forget the genderless crap for a minute. It’s very easy for me. A few facts ...men are stronger and faster than women as a rule. As for women competing in men’s sports......even as tomboyish as Bade Didrickson Zaharias was, she was not a crossover and could probably have played on the PGA. Her olympic skills could outdo most men. My Dad went to Beaumont high with her and told me everyone would stand back just to watch her. Babe was unique. She didn’t want to compete against men even though she could have prevailed, and probably did against a few suckers willing to challenge her. Having superior athleticism didn’t create gender issues.
