When I first did the math a week or so ago, the numbers matched the flu death rate. I will admit that the rate has gone up since then. Being the optimist that I am, I like to say that there is a 98% survival rate. Doesn’t that sound better?

Don’t tell me how to do the math please. If you are going to live by the death/infection ratio, then you are dealing with numbers most can’t come up with anyway. Look at total infected to total deaths. Those are numbers most can plainly see and mean much more to me. The flu this season has the same death ratio.

I have read that the line at HEB in PA is all the way to the strip mall next door. It wasn’t that long after Harvey. Ate at Tia’s in Beaumont yesterday and there was no virus scare there. Placed was packed like sardines.

Well, I happen to agree with this guy 100%. This virus affects the non-thinkers without infecting them.

The common cold is a coronavirus. Have they ever come up with a vaccine for it? What makes everyone think they can come up with one for COVID-19?

Well, here in SE Texas, we are used to having 2-3 feet of water in our homes, no electricity, no drinking water, neighbors in boats checking to see if we are alright, being relocated until the water goes down, then starting all over again. So don’t tempt us with a two week self-quarantine with power and water, the ability to shower and watch tv, it would seem like a vacation. All of this nonsense of no toilet paper, water, canned goods, cancellations of events, no freedom to roam about.....all seems like a Bernie Sanders trial run.

I actually like golf. The Masters is in April. Everyone is panicking over nothing.
