NE Patriots went undefeated in their regular season games and playoffs until losing to the Giants in the SB. However, they lost TWO pre-season games that same year. High school and pros are different in lots of ways, but my terminology is correct. If you don't want to recognize it, then that is your prerogative.

I believe PNG had a pre-district loss, and I have no problem referring to them as undefeated district champs in Faircloth's first season. Neumann, his staff, and these players have worked hard to earn this title and I will not tarnish it in any way, shape, or form. Great second post BTW.

Great game Ozen. Best offense we have faced all season.....lots of speed and very elusive. You will do well in the playoffs.

You seem to be too intelligent of a guy to make a blanket statement like that. Hooks was probably the best at working the refs. I know, here comes all the WOS faithful, but Hooks was way out on the field a lot. Whether he got all the calls or not, he sure put forth an effort. Well, maybe just that one..... ;D If you are talking about the holding call, I did not see it, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Then, when you curse the refs on the field, you are going to get multiple flags.

Well, I can't stand for the entire game, so someone save me a seat.  ;D Ned brings a big crowd to a small bleacher anyway, but I do think if you treat the visiting team to better seating, more will attend. More tickets sold and more concessions. I never understood the visiting side being smaller anyway. Is it intentional to discourage people from showing up? Kind of a conflict of interest.

I'd like to see Ozen in the playoffs because I think they are better than Livingston. Nothing personal about that comment Liv. fans, just know how our games went against both squads. Ozen has a very potent offense. If their defense could get a few stops, they would come out on top more than they have. Also need to work on their special teams. Field position is a must, although Ozen is capable of making the field very small with one play. Bad snaps from center and a blocked punt led to 9 of Ned's points. I voted for Andrew Michael as player of the week. He had 200 yards receiving on 7 catches for 2 TDs, plus I believe he is the one who returned the pick six. OK, 'nuff said about Ozen......Go Dogs!

It's all about the moola the UIL makes off the extra games. It is not going to change. I think it will stay at four. The weaker teams that back into the playoffs will be gone soon enough. The good teams that barely make it, well, that's football and you have to beat them too, because they may get their second wind. Just my opinion.

How does a PNG win help Ozen?

Sure would be nice to go undefeated also. Need the stay crisp. Tough call.
