They lost a bunch of games today, but they are appealing. Supposedly it was players cheating off each other and no one from the school was involved. If that is true, this is ridiculous. You can rape people at Baylor and nothing happens. You cheat off someone's test and games get forfeited. The NCAA is a joke.

It's the little things that make the parent/coach in me happy. In this day of the rich, spoiled athlete, this is refreshing to see. You can't teach leadership. [Hidden Content]

They are the only undefeated team, but their schedule was pretty weak this year. All of the other top ranked teams played power 5 schools and some came away with wins in those games. Seems to me like they got the playoff seeding right.

I've had this debate between Dak and Zeke. I think Dak is more valuable to the Cowboys and there is no way they are the best team in the league without him. Look at their record last year when Romo went down and McFadden still rushed for over 1,000 yardsbehind that line. I could see Dak being MVP and Zeke getting ROY if they want to spread the awards around a little.

25,673 was the official attendance for Texas at Kansas. Not many people were there to witness history. There will be more fans at the Katy-North Shore game on Friday.

Would Major be in the running for the head job at UH? I haven't seen much mention of that, but he's done well there. They would just have to keep him away from the training staff.

I don't get why Jimbo would leave FSU unless there are issues with admin at FSU. He gets the same talent currently and is an easier conference. He has a good chance to make the playoff each year in the ACC without having to play Saban, [Hidden Content]

The Big 12's four Texas schools went 0-4 in games they were supposed to win. Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and Texas lost by 21, 25, 56, and to Kansas, each more embarrassing than the last. [Hidden Content]

In what was supposed to be a quiet week in college football because of the lack of quality match-ups, but the Cowboys and Horned Frogs found a way to be the only teams in the country to fall out of both polls after home losses to unranked teams.I don't know if this Texas team truly has championship chops, but outside of possibly the Sooners, I don't know that there's a team left on the schedule that's as good as the team I've watched the last two weeks at DKR.It's two weeks into the season, but I don't see any reason why this team won't be playing for important things late in the season. Like almost every team in the country not named Alabama, this is a group that might be an injury or two away from trouble, but based on what we've seen thus far, there's no reason to cringe at the thought of thinking big.Perhaps the stars aren't aligning, but it sure seems like I can see Orion's Belt from here. I've been playing craps with a bunch of LSU fans all night in Marksville. They all seem to think Jimbo is headed to Baton Rouge. I don't see why he would make a lateral move at this point unless he doesn't get along with the admin.
