I agree. but I don't trust the SUP to make this decision at this big of a district and that goes for all multi high school districts.....just my opinion.

Most of that talent you are talking about is on the offensive side of the ball. Also several players on defense got let go due to players not following the rules(discipline). Talent will always surface....none did on the defensive side because there wasn't any stand out talented individual As far as coaches coaching I have no clue to that. The reason she likes him is because the student athletes respond well to him, he cares about their well being, he's a disciplinarian, but fair....they have a established a good program/system. you come off like you have a personal issue with the coaches that are there. I guess going 11 - 2 and 3 rounds deep doesn't mean anything to you Yes they should take applicants and interview then weigh their options.

Well from what I know they have the upperhand due to it is a campus position and their is no AD position attached to it. Also keep in mind AD position will be open as well. And Westbrook needs to hire someone in the next month so that spring football is successful. If there is no head coach hired before then....then its not good for the program. Given they do have to be thorough with the hiring process to get a good coach. In your opinion who should do the hiring......the AD that's leaving, school board, super....

I can see 2 to 3 coaches going to Tomball with him. Nothing against Flannigan, but others have circumstances to why they have to stay in area -

he wasn't the OC....he was the linebacker s coach -
Players gotta make plays. I believe there has only been one senior to get a scholarship (committed to Yale) from the defensive side. This past year no one stood out on defense. not to mention you had several former offensive coaches coaching defense. Different principal its a Female principal now.....who likes Peevey.

im just using the example u presented. U said unwed mother. nope . homos are committing a sin when they are having sex and when they re not due to the way they feel and think about the same sex(frame of mind, practicing sin), But that also applies to all that have sinful thoughts you can't justify sin with another sin. yes there those that sin in other ways that have a strong opinion on homos. either way neither is right way to live. you can't justify sin with another sin you can't justify sin with another sin pretty simple you can't justify sin with another sin -

Justifying sin with another sin doesn't make much sense to me. -

I agree with your post But God's love is agape. meeting them with love sometimes means telling them they are wrong in how they are living their life and same goes for other types of sin. -

Homosexuality is a practicing sin, but can be forgiven if individual chooses to do away with that lifestyle and thinking. Yes an unwed mother did commit a sin, but it was just at the time of conception. -

Jesus is Love, but what a lot of people don't get is that the word "LOVE" encompasses a lot more than what you may think......one of those words that "LOVE" encompasses is "JUST" many churches have given into many sins already and some have already given in to same sex relations due to societal pressures and govt interference, soon enough they will give in to other sins that will be practiced in the church. A lot of you say oh it wont happen....bestiality, prostitution, etc etc., but it will because the norm now is to accept everything and go by no standards. You can't call anyone out for doing wrong anymore, that's just not right. go ahead and laugh. in the end your laughter will be muted and then it ll be too late. (key word "practicing") -

He hated it at first, but that bucket is his counselor. and now that he's playing some organized ball and sees the fruit of his labor pay off by shooting in that ocean of a regulation goal he now understands why he suffered that abuse

Funny you bring that up....those carnival guys hated me.....I ve actually been ran off before by them. Grew going to the rice festival I was winning stuffed animals by the dozens.

5gallonbucket comes from me growing up playing basketball in my parents barn. The goal was a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut off that was nailed to a wood mortar board(dad's a bricklayer) for a backboard that was then nailed to a creosote pole. Shooting on this type of goal is no easy task and can be disheartening to a young kid just starting out, but my persistent lil self loved the game. Shooting on that goal with a regulation ball you have to have the perfect arch otherwise it won't go in. Ball would barely fit. I credit that goal for many accolades thru high school and college, but most of all credit my dad for teaching me Perseverance and Work Ethic by making that goal for me. and as of today i have my 11 year shooting on the good ole 5 gallon bucket.
