We’re totally different from Diboll. Our defense is actually not that young. I think we have 5 seniors on defense. Our offense is young but also very talented. I doubt y’all will hold our offense to 14 points. If y’all’s RBs are good as I think they are then you may be right about them “running wild”. Especially if our best MLB is not on the field for defense.

Could possibly be a high scoring game. Woodville has younger players and more risky play calling so we’re sometimes more prone to turnovers. I think if we can keep it to no more than one turnover we have a good chance to win. 3 or more and we don’t have much of a chance at all. Don’t think we’ll be able to completely stop Coldspring’s run offense but if we can hold our own and not let them run all over us we’ll be ok. We probably need our best linebacker on the field for defense more. We have plenty decent WRs but don’t have another LB anywhere near his caliber in my opinion. If he needs a breather I’d rather give him a breather on offense.

Exactly. I think the winner of Woodville/Coldspring gets the winner of Columbus/Rockdale second round.

I haven’t compared district 10 to other 3A-1 districts statewide but if you are comparing us to other region 3 districts like district 11 of course we’re below average Lol. I don’t think district 9 is a whole lot better though.

I’m not sure about any of these games except EC vs Trinity but if I were betting I’d probably take Crockett over Anahuac. Hope they prove me wrong and district 10 sweeps district 9 though lol

I was mostly judging by the loss to Santa Fe. I do realize PNG’s defense is terrible as always though lol

I believe Buna won tonight so that would make it a 3-way tie between Woodville, Buna, and Anahuac. Being we only won by 5 and lost to Buna by 8 I think we land at fourth which means a first round matchup vs Coldspring.

Good win eagles! Don’t think we had a good enough margin for the second seed but if we land at fourth I don’t think Coldspring is too bad of a matchup for us 🦅 🦅 🦅

This is a tough one for my pickems. I want to pick Orangefield but I know what I might be thinking if I were either of these teams.... lol. Hope it’s a good competitive game and they’re not thinking like I’m thinking 😂

I have to take Diboll in this one. I don’t think Coldspring’s offense will be that effective against Diboll.

EC had a better offense. It’s easier to stop a good back if you can just stack the box and not have to worry about a pass play.

Zac’s senior year 2018-2019. Zac averaged 15 yards while Caesar averaged 11 so just disagree with those numbers

I could see us MAYBE going 2 or 3 rounds in the playoffs. As small as it seems, 3 rounds would be huge for us because I don’t believe we’ve ever done it and it would give us good momentum and even higher expectations going into next year. I could also see us missing the playoffs if we loose to Anahuac and Kirbyville beats Buna. So I just hope our guys are 100% focused on Anahuac for now and we’ll move forward from there.
