I get the point but there is a point of diminishing returns. Getting totally beatdown does not teach much of anything. Conversely, playing total pushovers doesn't do much of anything except work the reserves out, which is a good thing but not the primary goal. I would like to play a team 10%-20% better than yourself, and even if you take a narrow loss its OK if you got great work in. In any case as I said before, I think the last 2-3 games are the most important before the playoffs. By week 11, the week 0 or 1 games do not matter as much. I would speculate BH finds new predistrict opponents next year, as does FMB and CEK.

BH looks like a machine right now. Still very early and peaking needs to happen in the playoffs but for now BH is just killing it.

It is noteworthy the Crosby Helicopter Dad said the following two weeks ago regarding Absek: Crosby isn’t starting as a bottom feeder like y’all had to, plus we actually got the mentor instead of the understudy so we don’t really expect the mediocre results y’all strive for. I too think it will be close but the "botton feeder" team with the "understudy coach" striving for "mediocracy" might not take kindly to this repetative blazing disrespect. OTHO, Absek, (AKA "the understudy") has emptied the benches in the 2nd half of the last two games. Staying classy.

I watched this on TV. I don't think ESL will be wanting to come back to Texas anytime soon.

The Eagles are soaring right now I have said before and will say again. one game at a time. Take every opponent very seriously, whoever they are. Crosby is absolutely capable of beating anyone in the district, including BH. Eagles will have to be 100% ready Friday night.

Well they are 2-1. Its not like they are 0-3 and just lost to a Baytown school or anything. LOL! I was impressed by Sterlings fans turning out. The vistors side was pretty full. Sterling had built up some excitement after starting out 2-0 (yes I know) and it was good to see them have a spark. Last night was reality setting back in, it was inevitible to happen. That soph QB #17 Favors that came in did a great job. Dude is a gamer. The score and stats won't tell it but he was spot on with a lot of his passes. Problem was his recievers could not catch a cold. Sterling should start Favors the rest of the season. They can win some more this year. Good luck RSS!
