The Communists and Socialists the Dims are electing in deep blue cities are illustrating how radical they really are. This does not play well in mainstream America. Even if D.C. would eventually become a state, that would be offset by those fleeing NY, etc. and moving to red FL, TN, and TX. Red states will gain while NY, CA, IL, etc. will lose electoral votes. Their electoral losses will further accelerate as more and more are deported.

That "could" happen, but you never win by waiting on what may or may not happen in the future. Much of what Trump has done has been codified into Law. Its not so easily reversed. In any case, it would take a sea change for that. The Dims poll about 19%, and right now its conceivable that the Republicans could even add in the mid term. Appeasement never works with the radical Dims. They are the sole reason reconciliation is now the norm in Federal budgeting. The Republicans played nice far too long then the Dims went too far. They are still paying for that today.

Because you just don't understand. Washington D.C. is a Federal Enclave, not a state. For the Feds to move into a state, it would have to go through the respective state Governor first. D.C. is different. By Law, the Feds control D.C., they don't have a governor. Trump is 100% perfectly within the Law to enact enhanced law enforcement in D.C. Why did this happen? In blue D.C. A murderer can point blank shoot someone in the chest killing him, and they go to a "court" that sentences the murderer to "rehab" which entails no bail, arts & crafts activities, ice cream parties, and yoga classes. I remember when the Feds under Clinton moved a 7 foot tall guy out of a neighboring community that he claimed "didn't feel safe" although nothing had happened, into Beaumont where he was shot dead almost immediately. Crazy.
