Cougar14.2 would be a great person to step up and do these previews. He has tons of FB knowledge and is passionate about analyzing teams. Or maybe split it up and let Cougar 14.2 do the large schools (4A, 5A. 6A) and let someone else (maybe RETIREDFAN1?) do the small ones (1A, 2A, 3A).

Predictions for district 9-5A DII
Separation Scientist replied to prepballfan's topic in High School Football
As far as their history, you could easily look that up. As for last year, FBM was undefeated, ranked Top Ten, had a lot of blow out wins, and they were highly hyped in print and TV media. Then BH happened to them in the 1st round. The fact that BH beat them is not totally shocking, but the way they did was eye popping. BH simply ran right through them. I don't think 9-5A-ll teams have to be terrified out of their minds. The reason I comment on this is to give our former district mates in 9-5A-ll some encouragement. I will still support our former district rivals. -
Predictions for district 9-5A DII
Separation Scientist replied to prepballfan's topic in High School Football
I don't know what FBM has coming back, but they are not nearly as tough as their reputation. They were undefeated and supposed to effortlessly roll over 5-5 BH in the 1st round of the playoffs last year, but BH came out and punched them in their mouth and doubled them up 42-21. This illustrates how a weak district does not get you ready. A gaudy 10-0 record does not mean a thing if you don't play anyone. 9-5A-ll is wide open. -
Joe Biden is a great American President
Separation Scientist replied to BADSANTA's topic in Political Forum
I only responded because YOU ASKED about 2018 (only). If you somehow want to gloat about all the destruction of America the DIMS have caused lately, that's your problem and its a deep one. Personally I don't look back, I look forward. Better days for the USA is ahead. The trash is about to be swept out. -

NO. I will stick with the party that brought the USA no inflation, $2.45 gas, stocked baby formula, a secure border, and awesome prosperity 5.5 years ago. Every single time. -

Red wave imminent. Even the TX border counties are turning red, which was impossible to even think of this two years ago. -

The alternate was a great economy with essentially no inflation, $2.45 gas, baby formula fully stocked on shelves, a secure border, food prices reasonable, and respect around the globe. Now America is in a total shamble, with lawlessness and pain every where you look. What part of that don't folks understand? -
BH needs to rediscover their bats, and find a solid #2 pitcher. I do not follow the JV much but at a glance they have some tall, athletic girls coming up. I am not sure that necessarily translates into "softball skills" but the JV team is as tall as the Varsity. They pass the eye test. Good thing is State appears to be wide open with Aledo and Lake Creek graduating a lot of Seniors. Look for BH to improve next season, and be really good in 24.

For those that say the President doesn’t set gas prices
Separation Scientist replied to PhatMack19's topic in Political Forum
I never thought I would say this, but the misery in the USA during the last 1.5 years might be exactly what this nation needs, to see clearly who built it up, and who is now destroying it. I want the Dim voters to suffer. They so deserve it. -

Biden sinks to new low, 37%. Even some Dims now calling for his removal... Red wave imminent. -

I hope a lot of Dims now have 201K's. They deserve it. -

Nothing "free market" about trying to KILL OFF an American industry, and send dollars to our enemies like Venezuela and Iran. Even you can't be stupid enough to try and spin killing an American industry as FRRE MARKET Capitalism. Its the exact opposite. Huge fail. Try again. -

You need to reread PhatMacks post at the top of this thread. JANUARY 20, 2021, the 'big guys" first official act was to KILL Keystone XL pipeline. The markets, and inflation responded by beginning the SPIKE immediately. It took 1.5 years for inflation to get as bad as it is now. Don't even try "Putin" either. Inflation was raging before "Putin" was used an excuse. I hope the Dim voters love their $5 gas and sky high food bills. -

Trump had zero inflation (above the desired 2% target). [Hidden Content] Scroll down and take a close look at that chart. Notice the Trump years, then take a CLOSE look where the spike occurred. January 20, 2021. -
Lamar University looking for another AD
Separation Scientist replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in Lamar Sports Forum
I don't have a vested interest in LU, but when the WAC news broke I followed it some. Seems like internally in the WAC there was a lot of opposition to Lamar joining, but due to needing to fill things out Lamar was accepted over notable objections. Now those same ones who spoke up are in "I told you so" mode to the ones who pushed Lamar in. -
Can Deer Park take back the 6A title? Will Barbers Hill ride their Ace (soon to be Soph) pitcher to the finals? Will Liberty win another championship? Or can Bridge City pick off Liberty after coming so very close? Anyone in 3A and below poised for a run?

People will blindly vote for any and everything a school/program/team wants, then these very same ones will CRY when that have to pay their soaring property taxes. Then, the poor always vote for any and every project, because they pay little or no taxes. Same reason the welfare "entitlement" crowd always votes Democrat.
