Someone called out Mark Cuban for vigorusly pushing DEI, but keeping his Mavericks team full of 7 ft. tall black men. Where are the 5'9" whites, Hispanics and Asians? Cuban got really agitated when he was called out on it but he argued "the others" have jobs within the Mavs organization. Apparently Cuban equates employing a Hispanic janitor or a white secretary for near minimum wage with a multi-million dollar NBA players. Cuban is a POS.

Well I am not on Smokey but I see all the nasty comments being hurled. I never dreamed simply using the word "that" would unhinge so many but when there is 24/7 derangement syndrome I guess "that" can happen. I guess its nice to be so important "that" one harmless word can cause so many of you to trip out! Meanwhile the constant racial insults and racial threats are accepted and supported. My thoughts are I see a few hateful voices but hopefully they do not reflect accurately on the whole. It might seem that way to those on certain forums and groups, but the majority of the public does not have a real axe to grind. Those who threaten, insult and provolk their neighbors are far outnumbered by thoses who don't. Hopefully.

I don't have any problem with you at all. All I said was, paraphrasing, you are human like the rest of us. I clearly have biases too, but I guess I am just real enough to say it. If you want to talk privately thats fine, but I don't have anything specific to say to you. I will add this, its not necessary to think like a few others do here. Every word I say is picked apart to the N'th degree by the eternal critics (not claiming you are one). The "that" thing is a perfect illustration. He acts like he is some kind of ambassador to TX HS football but he has lots of biases and pettiness and sometimes even an axe to grind. He has good info lots of times but sometimes he is less than professional. He does not always benefit DC and/or the UIL.

Some thought Abseck was a bad hire. Later he was just a "mentee" to an elite coach, LOL. Coaches or whatever, it does not matter though. Yes Buttigieg was strictly a gay DEI hire. The dude was only a mayor before. No more than 10,000+ other mayors across the US. If Buttigieg was not gay he would have never been in that role.

I sure hope they do. They do an excellent job running the ISD but they dropped the ball letting Abseck depart. Mistakes are not fatal, unless you fail to learn from them. My guess is that eyes are being opened and a lesson is being learned. That will benefit BH.

Spot on. None of the eternal BH haters here have a clue whats going to actually happen in the years to come. Their hate blinds them so much they just fantasize and wish the worst for BH every year. BH may / may not go 6A next time around. Cutoffs rise every year. BH may / may not be with NS etc. Districts are modified every year. NS, etc. may / may not go to a 7A in 2 or 4 years. 6A may / may not have three divisions in the future. If their worst wishes DON"T come through for BH, they will really come unhinged. Too much racial hate inside of them. Crazy thing is, BH football is more diverse than a handful of others in the area. Our team was way more diverse that Lufkin, PAM, BU, etc.
