  1. The BEARKATS took 2 of 3 games this weekend from central arkansas. Game 1: lose 13-2 Game 2: win 5-3 Game 3: win 7-3 Conference record: 15-3 Overall record: 28-13
  2. Veteran Tight End James Hanna Moved To Reserve/Retired List Friday, April 20, 2018 11:27 AM CDTFRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys’ tight end depth chart took a hit Friday, with less than a week until the 2018 NFL Draft. The club announced that James Hanna has been placed on the reserve/retired list, as the veteran tight end has had a hard time overcoming a knee injury over the past two years. That injury held Hanna out of the entire 2016 season, but it did not stop him from playing a role in 2017. Hanna played in all 16 games last fall with eight starts, and he caught four passes for 88 yards – including his first and only career touchdown, in Week 4 against the Rams. Originally a sixth-round draft pick in 2012, Hanna made a name for himself largely as a blocker and a special teamer – though he possessed surprisingly good hands. He played 80 total games during his Cowboys career, with 37 total starts. As one of the team’s core special teamers, Hanna signed a three-year, $8.2 million extension in 2016. He would have been playing in a contract year had he remained on the roster in 2018. This decision should serve as a big opportunity for the tight ends behind Jason Witten on the Cowboys’ depth chart. Geoff Swaim is entering the final year of his rookie deal after being drafted in 2015, while second-year tight end Blake Jarwin was good enough that the Cowboys signed him off the practice squad last fall. Then there’s the curious case of Rico Gathers, who flashed impressive playmaking ability during the 2017 preseason – only for a concussion to send him to injured reserve for the entire regular season. Hanna’s departure could present a big opportunity for all three young tight ends. It could also prompt the Cowboys to select a tight end in next week’s draft, should the opportunity arise.
  3. You've lost me. I truly believe the Bonanno family had JFK assassinated. I thought an iceburg sank the titanic. Who are you saying sank the titanic and how did it set up the federal reserve bank?
  4. Ok guys, give me your predictions. 3-3 in the division as usual. (not sure how the split happens) wins over carolina, seattle, detroit, houston, titans, colts, tampa bay losses to jacksonville, atlanta and saints 10-6 on the season *The COWBOYS always win one they are not expected to and always lose one they are expected to win so the wins and losses could change a little. 9. When has President Trump, or any form of government ever taken food away from a child? I have never heard of a person walking into a home and taking a child's food. If you are referring to welfare, which is one of the 3 worst laws ever made remember that parents, not the government, are responsible for taking care of and supporting a child.

  13. Why is the media so worried about what President Trump did before he was the President of the U.S.? I really could care less who he had sex with or when he had the sex. And why is it such a big deal that he paid a porn star to stay quite about their sexual business? Movie stars and sports figures do this all the time and the media and fans still love them despite the fact. These are moral issues that he has to deal with. It has nothing to do with him being the President and protecting the USA.
  14. SHSU lost to UT Arlington last night 4-3. Gotta find a way to stop this losing streak. Conference record: 11-1 Overall record: 23-10

  16. It sounds like the COWBOYS have always had interest in Ealy. Talked about drafting him and tried to claim him but the jets had a higher waiver spot. I don't know much about his career. Why did carolina, the patriots and the jets let him go?

  24. “I’ll put you through hell, but at the end of it all we’ll be champions.” BEAR BRYANT “I saw Cobb make plays that no one else would dare to try. He was a master at calculating the odds, and he was in a class by himself on the base paths. He had brains in his feet.” BRANCH RICKEY “He was the strangest of all our national sports idols, but not even his disagreeable character could destroy the image of his greatness as a ballplayer. Ty Cobb was the best. That seemed to be all he wanted.” JIMMY CANNON “The base paths belonged to me, the runner. The rules gave me the right. I always went into a bag full speed, feet first. I had sharp spikes on my shoes. If the baseman stood where he had no business to be and got hurt, that was his own fault.” TY COBB “I recall when Cobb played a series with each leg a mass of raw flesh. He had a temperature of 103, and the doctors ordered him to bed for several days, but he got three hits, stole three bases, and won the game.” GRANTLAND RICE
