My first weapon set was PSE Nova set at 65lbs with 30 inch draw. I too own a competition target shooting bow. That’s awesome!
I think about half of the bowhunters active today used a PSE Nova (in one of its versions) as a first bow. It is reasonably cheap compared to high end bows and has a smooth draw. It is still a killer.
you're conversing with a spammer, tvc :).  at least you can tell this one actually speaks english as a first language.
Spamming for a PSE Nova? Usually spammers say something like, "Hey, I do that also. By the way try one of my pharmacy links listed below."
they've gotten smart.  they make a comment that sometimes makes sense to the thread, and then post links in their signature bars.
I figured that out after you posted. That seems like a long way to go to hide something. Having to log on and make an intelligent conversation about the actual topic at hand.
 3.
Pretty Much, we were hunting the Reservoirs down 563, and a bunch of ducks were going down in that area. We were trying to figure out where it was and the best explination was Mac. Then my friend said he didn't think you could hunt it because something to do with lake Charlotte but i dont think he realized that it was on completely different sides of the "split" in the river. And i also had a question about navigable waterway but you cleared that up, so thanks!
This article from the Texas Parks and Wildlife website explains some of the navigable waterway rules/laws in Texas. It is really about the stream bottoms (recreational vehicle use on dry stream beds) but talks about the laws on navigable waterways under Texas law. The second paragraph down talks about public access. One of the main keys is that the water has to be accessed from a public location like a bayou, river, etc. If you have to cross private land to get to it, then it is not public. From the maps, Mac Lake has direct access to the bayou and then Trinity Bay. The federal law also deals with navigable waterways but theirs has to do with any waterway that is effected by the tide. I think the bayou leading up to Mac Lake from Trinity Bay is in the tidal basin and is also under federal laws for navigable waterways. [Hidden Content] I would still make a call to Parks and Wildlife and they are glad to help with the laws.

 6. I've never been there but it looks like a navigable waterway. Looking at it on the map, it is likely a navigable waterway. If so, you can likely hunt there. If it a question like pops up from time to time that someone owns the bank and doesn't want people hunting in "their lake"? I big case came up in Texas a few years back in the Big Hill Bayou and Keith Lake area. A long time hunting club claimed sole use of a lot of the water as they owned the bank and all land surrounding a lot of the waterways. The ruling then is should be the same as now and that is that the water is open to the public. The land may not be but a person cannot stop access to a navigable waterway and it is a crime to do so. I haven't duck hunted in a long time but if it is still legal to hunt from a boat not under power, then you should be able to legally hunt Mac Lake. For clarification I would call a game warden with the TPWD and get a final judgment on it. I made such a call last year over a piece of water that had a sign saying no entry allowed. I called TPWD from my cell phone while in the boat and the warden said that the sign was meaningless. The land was restricted but not the water. Is that what you had in mind or something else?
 7.
I have been duck hunting my whole life, now im starting to venture out on my own, and was wondering if you can hunt Mac Lake? I have plenty of area's to hunt but me and a friend of mine got in an argument about Mac Lake! So any help will be appreciated!
Mac Lake near south of Moss Bluff?
 8.
There is one in PA on highway 69.  I called about it a while back and think it is $250 for the whole year for your family.
I was on that one for a couple of years. It was a great place to fish but I haven't been back in about 4 years. I used it for a flyfishing location since I could walk around the bank without the need for a boat. I almost always brought in fish to eat for dinner.
 9.
just confirmed i can't make it.  sorry to bake out, but better now than the day before the tourney.
..and before you get your money in.  ;D
 10. If UBL has been dead for several years and the "raid" was a staged event for reelection purposes, why not spring it around August 2012 right before the election and not almost two years out. This raid is a done deal and yesterday's news as far as the polls. The latest Gallup shows (at the moment) Obama over an unknown Republican 43%-40%. If all this was done for a bump in the election it needed to be done a lot later in the process. Doing this for poll purposes makes no sense. Having the SEALS go in instead of just sending in a rocket makes it look like a poll to claim that we can confirm his demise but hiding the body for 10 years and springing the news now doesn't make any sense.
That is of course with the exception of BrenhamFan.  Talk to us man!  It looks like y'all are getting hammered!
They are probably swimming for their lives the way the radar looks. No time to post.  :)
 12. Yep. If I just want to go fishing and bet $25, I can get one of my friends and bet on who catches the most bass in Taylor's Bayou or the most specks on the dock across the street from where I work. It will save a lot of time and money for the same results.

It is true that they "played" those games but not counting district games, BC had a losing record against those playoff teams. Great season for BC so far. Keep it going against Smithville.
Nederland did not sweep Vidor. Vidor gave Nederland its only loss in the first district game.
 21. Dang.. I just post about no poles and dynamite and THEN read hippie's post.... and he already has both.  >:( ;D Maybe great minds think alike.
 22.
that would never work.  I'm an elitist and only use dry flies with barbless hooks(wouldn't want to hurt those fish)   You rednecks probably bomb away with crankbaits and probably would stop in the middle of the tourney to try to catch a few catfish for supper later.      ;D
You mean us rednecks would bomb away with.... bombs. Nothing like throwing in small sticks of dynamite to enhance the catch.

 25.
Do you really believe that? Lcm had a chance to at least tie for the DC if they had won. Although and outside chance.
That's what I was wondering. They could be the district champions but they decided to let some kids throw? Hmmm........
