There were some iffy calls on both sides last night and fortunately none of which changed the outcome. That crew seemed confused the whole night though. They couldn't get the ball ready for the snap, they had several conferences where it looked like they had no clue what was going on and overall looked like a bunch of rookies.

Tough doesn't describe their playoff chances. More like, wait until next year. LC-M would have to win 4 in a row and then hope for some big time help. More likely LC-M is looking at the cellar this year.

Great win for Lumberton's program.

You've got my vote.

Probably silly people thinking that they can get tickets at the gate.

560 AM and 92.5 FM Take your pick.

Permian might hang in there for a half and make it close but the L-Train pulls away from the station by the fourth quarter and runs away with it at the end.

It looks okay now that they got rid of the red lettering. That was sure hurting my old eyes.

LOL.. you have to ask? ;D

That is a great article by Rush Woods. It explains it all better than Tom Haliburton in the PA News, IMO.

....and gonna be at this one?

That is up on the line. There are other good ones in the secondary.

He's got a rocket. Bellows is one of the few people that I have ever seen that can be running away from the line of scrimmage and rifle one down field for a completion. I saw it a couple of times against Central. It looks like he is throwing the ball away and he completes it 15 yards down field.

LOL.. the last Nederland/PN-G game that I missed was in 1964.

Coop, have you been to MCM before?

About 10 minutes before the game most of the fans will be on their feet waiting to see their team. You can expect the cheering to start the moment one of the players steps out of the field house and comes into view of their home side. And loud, heavy on the loud................

I wonder if Lumberton wants him back. ;D

They might be close to last in yardage. I don't put much faith in defensive yardage stats though. How many points did they allow and how many points did the defense score or give to the offense for an easy score?

Yep, he got us into the playoffs with a coin flip. Butler was the most complete player that I have ever seen. Offense, defense, kick offs, field goals, punts with either foot and while running full speed, great hands, fastest player on the field, from running back to wide out, kick off returns, punt returns.... what did he not do? We have all seen some multi-talented players that play offense and defense but this guy did it all. Did he ever come off of the field?

I'll bet they run out before noon. Like about 8:30AM maybe.........

Time is tick tick ticking away and it is almost Friday................

I believe that they work because I have talked to several people that have used them (not just hearsay) and they all say that they work. I was wondering out spooking the deer though. How close have you gotten to deer while using it? I have been within about 15 feet of deer while bow hunting and I am always worried about scent spooking them.

Raidernation has gotten this one right. It doesn't matter how you get to 5-0, it only matters that you are. I don't see Nederland getting any bonus points for beating teams with a better record. They are still only 5-0.

stangchain, So that long explanation just means that you would keep the same format as we have today but Div 1/large school would have two schools represented and Div 2/small school would have one school. Is that correct? That way you would give a break to the small school by reducing the number of games to the championship by one game. I wouldn't have a problem with that. It is a 50/50 chance which division you end up in anyway, according to which other teams end up in the top three. Nederland has been Div 1 for some years and Div 2 for others.
